I gasped as I woke up in my bed, and I clutched my chest. It was only a nightmare. I rubbed my temple with my forehead, as tears welled up in my eyes. I clenched my eyes together to stop the tears from flowing, but it broke like a dam. I started to sob, wondering why I was so emotional right now. I heard the door creak open, and noticed her walk in.
"Sonic.... hey what's wrong," Amy fretted, with a anxious look on her face.
"Amy!!! AMY AMY AMY!!! AMY!!!", I shrieked, locking her in a bear hug.
"Whoa... Sonic what's wrong'", she soothed.
"Amy... I had a horrible nightmare... that I hurt you... you told me you were scared of me.... and I was separated from you...", I blubbered, squeezing the life out of her.
"Uh Sonic.... that wasn't a nightmare..", she explained, removing her gloves to reveal the scars.
"I....", I breathed.
"Sonic... it wasn't the real you.... you.... turned back into that were -hog thingy. It wasn't like you could control it. You blacked out after pouring my Amy juice into your eyes.... probably not the best idea", she chuckled.
"I should be able to control it... I'm not normal... I'm a freak", I sighed.
"Sonic, one thing is for sure is that your not normal... but that's why I love you", Amy smiled warmly.
"But you love Scrouge", I trailed off.
"Sonic, do you EVER think I would actually date someone other than you", she chuckled.
"W-well, yeah, you tried to date that Thunder guy I pretended to be", I reminded.
"I loved him because he reminded me of you. I thought I was always going to be lone, because you never noticed me. I knew I had to find a guy just like you to be happy... Little did I know, it was my Sonikku", she grinned.
"So you never did love Scrouge?" I clarified.
"Pfft are you kidding me?!? No way! I got a major in reverse psychology, and I wanted to see how far you would go... Pretty far", she smirked as she motioned to her scars.
"Amy, you need to stay away from me... sooner or later I am going to hurt you again", I mumbled.
"I don't care. I will love you until I kick the bucket, because ever since I laid my eyes on you, I knew you were the one. I don't want to change a thing about you... Your perfect", she concluded, squeezing my hand. I looked down, and clutched it.
"Now come on, let's go visit our niece and nephew", she smiled, and ran over to Tails and Creams house, with me betting her by about ten minutes.
"Hey, what took you so long", I joked, and she rolled her eyes and smiled. I opened the door, to find all 7 chaos emeralds on the table.
"Surprise!!!!!" Everyone shouted.
My jaw hung open. I turned to Amy, and she had a huge grin on her face
" SQUEEE! Do you like it Sonikku!" She gushed.
"I don't like it", I said. Amy's smile faded quickly.
"I love it."
