(Chapter 5) garroth the unicorn

Aphmau just arrived back from scaleswind riding ungruth the wyveren. Her wings where all battered up from the fight with zenix. She flew him down towards the docks with Laurence right behind her. She quickly got offic him running towards her home to see dale I front of a piles of ruins that once was her home. She ran up the her fateful guard to see what had happened

"DALE! WHERE LEVIN? ZOEY? EVERYONE? ARE THEY ALRIGHT?" Aphmau freaked out while saying.

"Malady please calm down. While you were gone zenix attacked the village and Garroth was able to protect everyone. Never been able to see someone keep up with Garroth like that. Zoey protected Levin with her magicks and the basement was a great shelter from them. We would've risked our lives to protect him and everyone." Dale replied reassuring her."

"Dale..." Aphmau started " zenix is a,.... Shadow knight....."

Dale looked at her not surprised " I thought so, never seen an apprentice keep up with his master. Zenix could barley shoot an arrow last I saw him. Now he's a Demi-God? He had a red glow in his eyes too. You should go check on everyone but I suggest levin and Zoey first. It obvious you would anyway. Good day lady Aphmau and please be safe."

Aphmau creeped down the stairs and then hit an iron door. She pressed a button and once she entered she was met with the beautiful deer pony Zoey. Zoey looked up and smiled.

"Aphmau! I would give my life to protect levin. I love fillies. He is sleeping right now so I wouldn't wake him but he is safe now and it's great to see our lord is too." Zoey said.

"Thank you Zoey." Aphmau said stroking levins head.

"Well anything for fillies and there parent." Zoey replied giggling.

Aphmau left laughing aswell. She then headed around Phoenix drop to check on every pony. She ten headed to the mines to look for Garroth since that's where she was told he was. She trotted down the steps past the smoke that curled,then feathered out in the air. She then took a left to find another guard polishing her sword. She then took a right going back the path she just took to find a goldenrod yellow unicorn with pale blonde and yellow streaks in his mane. Icy blue eyes too. He wore garroth a armor. It was him. Younger than she thought he was. He looked so disappointed. Aphmau slowly trotted towards Garroth making him close his eyes looking away.

"Lady Aphmau.... Don't look at me...." He started.

"Garroth..." She replied.

He looked at her " I failed the village, I fail every pony, I fail..... You." He said.

Once she herd this she hugged him. " you failed no pony. You did not fail me. You would never fail me. Your my guard. Your my friend. You would NEVER fail me."

He smiled. "I'm just going to stay down here for a while... Ok?"

"Yes my knight, you shall." She laughed leaving but felt horrible for him.
