Project Xehanort:Vol.1

Prologue

Dr. Lawrence stood on top of Project Xehanort. His eyes showing a hint of sleepiness. He looked at his watch as he sighed. He hadn't had any rest. He couldn't get any rest. He needed to figure out how to create an elite team of heroes. He walked down from the roof of the building and walked towards his lab. He slammed his fist on the table and looked at himself in the mirror. He saw someone behind him.
Before he could move, the shadow had threw him into the wall and grabbed him by his neck. It turned him around, forcing the doctor to take in the shadow's full distinct face. The shadow's face was cold. He held a blank expression as he slowly breathed. His right eye was gone while his left eye was red. He growled at the doctor,his teeth were sharp and pointy.
"You will...create...Super soldiers...or you die by my hand...", it spoke.
"I-i was gonna create super soldiers anyways,"stuttured Dr. Lawrence.
"Well now you're creating them for me. You will find these four children and kidnap them from their homes."
.......Prologue.......

Soldiers were in NightHawks as they headed towards their missions. They were equipped with ak's and machine guns. The world around them was quiet and dark. The air was quite damp. They could taste the moist air. As the soldiers quickly moved into position, a shadow was moving wistfully and quickly. The soldiers scanned the area and looked inside two houses.
"Let's get moving,"said the captain of the team.
The soldiers advanced toward the two houses, their guns ready. The captain and his team moved up to the second house. The soldiers got on top of the roof of the house and looked inside. They saw a little boy and girl.
"We got him."

---(parents' bedroom)---

The parents were sleeping when Captain Wyatt and his squad had snuck to the back of the house. The wife heard a noise and then her dog barked. She stood up and woke her husband up. The man looked as though he was in his late forties. He had already grown a grey beard and gray hair. His face was slightly pale and his hair was spiky. He had monotone like eyes that shown his anger and happiness. His wife looked at him and smiled as well. They knew that they had their dinner...and it was ready to be eaten!
Captain Wyatt motioned for his men to stop. He placed a silencer on his gun and shot the dog. He didn't know that what lied beyond that door would try to gnaw at him and his squad. He motioned for one of his men to pry open the door. As they did so, something or someone had grabbed their leg and pulled them through the door. The soldier screamed as he was pulled through the door. It had to be BEASTS! And BEASTS it was. The couple had been BEASTS! Captain Wyatt and his team had fired at the BEASTS but it didn't effect them. They just stood there, the bullets bouncing off of their chalky, hollow skin.
In the house, the boy and girl were hiding from the chaos. They were playing when they heard gun shots. They knew that their parents were killed but why are there still gunshots. The boy, courageously, stood up and looked out the window. He saw soldiers attacking two BEASTS. The boy's name was Nexus. His hair was crimson green and spiky. He was five years-old but he was quite stout and strong for a little boy.
"sis I see two BEASTS fighting a group of soldiers,"he gasped, "I think they might be mom and dad!?"
"Pash. That's ridiculous brother. How could mom and dad be BEASTS?", she walked up to the window and saw two BEASTS. She also gasped as she fell and landed on her butt. She couldn't believe what she saw. She saw two BEASTS that acted exactly like their parents. She sobbed until she heard a voice calling to her. It was her mother's.
"Mom..."
"Sweetie come join us,"the voice spoke.
"Mom!"
"JOIN US!"
The girl held her head as tears ran down her cheeks. Nexus ran to her and kneeled beside her. He looked her in her eyes and stepped back. Her eyes were nothing but black. No pupil. No nothing just darkness. He cried. She began to turn into a hideous creature known as a BEAST. Her body became mangled and her skin became hollow. She howled out and jumped out the window, knocking Nexus onto his butt. He stood up and watched his sis join the frey. He was too frightened to move. He had tears rolling down his face. He looked as if he wanted to say something but nothing came out except for his breath. He growled and gripped his collar, a locket dangled from it. It had a picture of him and his family. He looked out the window and wiped his tears. He walked downstairs and spotted his sister.
Teeth gritted and face turning red, Nexus dashed through the door and outside as he yelled his sister's name. He was pissed and all he wanted to do was save his sister. Him and his sister met up face-to-face as he aimed a punch directly at her skull. He felt his bones break as he did so. He was too pissed to cry. He held his arm and stepped back. The BEAST looked him in the eyes. It was no longer his sister. She was now a BEAST...
Meanwhile in the house nextdoor, the samething had happened except one of the soldiers was carrying two babies as she jumped out of the three-story window and landed in a truck. The other soldiers held off the attacking BEASTS. Lieutenant Becker saw Captain Wyatt and his men get attacked by BEASTS as well. Lt. Becker tossed a smoke grenade at the BEASTS and it exploded into their faces, getting into their eyes. They howled in pain, getting the other BEASTS' S attentions. The other two BEASTS ran toward them and helped attack the soldiers. Captain Wyatt had picked up Nexus and ran toward the truck the other two babies were at. He got into the truck along with Becker. The remaining soldiers got on the back and held the BEASTS off as they drove back to base. Before they could make it anywhere, one of the BEASTS had grabbed Becker by his leg and pulled him out of the truck window. Captain Wyatt was wide eyed but he kept driving for Becker's sake...
------(it was all a dream)----
Nexus woke up from the dream, sweating. He looked around his room then at his alarm clock. He saw that it was 11:45 pm. He rubbed his eyes and sighed. He couldn't sleep now. He looked at his phone and decided to leave it alone. He had to try and get some sleep in the morning. He had training then his first mission.
My first mission is tomorrow, he thought. He laid back down and went to sleep.
"I'm gonna be just like you dad!"his five-year old self said as the voice slowly died out...
