Y/N POV
I must of fell asleep in the forest because when I woke up I wasn't in my hammock. I remembered what happened yesterday and I bit my lip to stop tears falling. I got up slowly and walked back to campus. It was cold but I had slept in the forest in shorts and a t-shirt so that didn't help. I seen a couple of Gladers out so that means it must be early. I noticed one of them look at me and come running. I closed my eyes and prayed it wasn't Newt. It wasn't. It was Chuck, " Y/N! Your back! " He said. " Hi Chuck. " I reply " Anything new? " I asked. " Not really other than Newt wouldn't do anything since you ran off. He wouldn't eat, drink, sleep. All he does is sit in a tree sulking. " said Chuck. I gasped. I felt guilty but he didn't need to rant at me like that. I went to breakfast and ate porridge. I didn't even like it! I was too busy thinking. I got up after and Minho came over. " Somethings up. I can tell. My senses can tell me. " said Minho. I grinned at him and he grinned too. " I want to find Newt, do you know where he is? " I asked him becoming serious. " yeah he's in that tree over there. " said Minho pointing to a tree faraway. I thanked him then ran fast to the tree, when I got near I walked quietly not wanting him to hear me. I got to the trunk and looked up to see Newt pale and he had red eyes. Has he been crying this whole time? I started to climb up and he spotted me.
" Hi Newt. Please forgive me. " I said while climbing up to him. I got up to him and hugged him. " Y/N you know I will forgive you. " he said. He sounded so quiet. I climbed down with him following. We got back to campus and while Newt was at lunch I asked Alby if we could have a bonfire tonight. He agreed. Newt and I were talking and then I accidentally let it slip about me liking him but he wasnt listening. He had noticed the bonfire. We went out and we played games.
" Let's play Truth or Dare! " I said.
" Yeah! " said Thomas and Minho.
After a couple of dares and truths, it came to someone asking me. " Truth or Dare, Y/N? " Said Jeff. " DARE! " I basically shouted. " I dare you to...... kiss Newt on the lips and Newt has to kiss back. " said Jeff. I looked at Newt who had turned white. I was blushing like crazy I bet. I sat beside and when we kissed I swear I could feel Minho's grin. And here was sparks flying. I'm not falling for him, am I? After that dare the game ended with Minho going round saying, " NEWT AND Y/N! I SHIP THEM! " and he made sure that the whole Glade could hear him. I clambered into my hammock and fell straight to sleep.
