*James' POV*
I've never liked goodbyes and this time it's forever, I can't believe I'm leaving here, my whole life is just going to be left behind. I suppose it's all good though as Dad has got a new job and he says the neighbourhood that we're going to be living in is really nice, all I care about is that I can still play and produce music.
Today is my last day at Hill Valley and I have to say goodbye to all my friends, I knew this day was coming for over a year, it's flew by. The sun is shining, the leaves are turning red and there is a slight chill in the air, which I like as it's finally becoming Autumn, my favourite season.
I see Charlie and Matt talking by the doors waiting for the bell to go, I'm going to miss these guys, we've been friends ever since first grade and now its all over. The end of an era.
"Hey guys, today's the day"
"Yeah...eh if you see any fit girls, text me yeah?" Matt says, nudging me.
"Especially as it's England, wow, you're so lucky mate." Charlie adds
"Yeah aha" they don't understand that I really don't want to go.
"I suppose we better go in before Strictland finds us, eh do you know what, you should do something as it's your last day!" Charlie says as we walk down the blue corridors, heading to biology class.
"Yeah, that would be ace, but what?"
"I dunno, like -"
"I know! we could set the fire alarm off and make a run for it!" Matt interrupts
"Yeah okay then! I can go out with a bang I suppose, we'll do it during lunch."
3 long hours had passed and it was finally lunch, I met Matt and Charlie outside the cafeteria and we were ready to go. Matt told us the plan and we all went our separate ways, Charlie would stand outside Strictland's office, whist matt stood just outside the school doors and I made my way to the alarm. I paused for a moment thinking what am I meant do once I move to England, I have no idea what I'm doing? Oh well I figure that out when I get there, I have to live in the moment.
I pull the alarm and instantly I hear the continuous bell ring and I make a run for it. I head towards the doors where Matt and Charlie were now both standing as soon as they saw me we all ran through the doors and down the road.
All out of breathe we laughed to ourselves,
"That was AWESOME!" Matt said panting
"Yeah ahaha, What now 'cause we can't go back now."
"My house, I don't think my parents are in."
"I can't I gotta go home and pack, I still haven't finished and the truck is coming in " I look down at my phone, "In about half an hour!"
"Okay then mate, Well I guess this is goodbye then" Matt said slowly
"Er yeah, we're really going to miss you man, You're coming back though for sure, next summer"
"Yeah of course, Well see ya then."
"Yeah..." We all arkwardly give a one-second hug, I could see the tears rimming their eyes, but they obviously tried not too show it.
This was goodbye.
