It was Thursday.It felt like the hottest day on earth today.
I was in theater class. It was my dream to become the greatest female actor known.
We had to work with a partner today.It had to be boy and girl.
I was assigned with the hottest guy in class.
Carter
While I was the ugliest and fattest girl In the school.
Viki
He was coming my way.
His friends in the background.
"Hey.."
"H-h-hi Carter"
"So we're partners for this scene..
Where do we meet"
I didn't know what to say.
"Well..um how bout we come to the theater...no one has reserved it yet"
"Ok,well you can reserved it and text me later at what time Mr.Curtis gave us the time to be here.Heres my number..."
Ding.
I quickly checked to see what he had written,and indeed it was his number.
"Later"
"bye"
I stood there everyone staring at how a girl like me had to be partners with a guy like him.
I looked around.
Everyone was staring.
It was kind if awkward so I decided to go set the reserve for the assignment.
As I entered the theater I saw Mr.Curtis talking to Melissa.
One of the most polar girls in school.Her and Carter were cousins.
"Ah yes Melissa you can have three people in Your group since Steven wasn't here yesterday."
"Ok. Thanks Mr.Curtis.See you tomorrow!"
I saw here walk by me as she gave me a flattering smile.
"Do you need something Viki? You seem to be lost!"said Mr.Curtis
"Oh..um...Ah yes I was wondering if I could you know reserve the theater for the partner work?"
"Let me check if I dont have a anyone yet"
*A few minutes later*
"Yes you can come back at 7pm."
"Ok Thanks Mr.Curtis!"
*Later on that day*
I heard the phone ringing as I was washing the dishes. It was carter.
"Hey Carter I-"
"Hey Viki did you get the theater reserved?"
"Uh,Yeah that was what I was gonna tell you"
"ok at 7 right...Meet you in 10 minutes"
He Hung up
As I walked into the theater I saw him practicing his lines.
*Cough Cough*
"Oh hey Viki ready to practice"
"yea"
I walk up on to the stage with my lines
"wait,but not yet let's warm up"
*They Warm up And later on begin to practice*
*They Finish*
We both walk close to each other onto the back stage chairs.
"hey so I've been meaning to tell u something"Said Carter
"What is it"
"uh well ok here it goes I really like you and we'll I was hoping we could go out sometime"
"Um sure..when"
"how about Saturday at San Marcos?"
"sure come pick me up at six"
"Ok..Later"
"Bye"
Did that just happen...
No it couldn't have....
I pinch my self to make sure
"Ouch!!"
Omg its true it really is true
"Ahhhhh"
I run home in excitement
