Chapter 9
Hazel's POV
I woke up in the morning after a deep slumber. Thinking about the long and exhausting previous day. I still had to unpack. I unpacked all of my stuff and took a shower. Then i got dressed. Nothing formal, just a tank top with shorts and sandals. I brushed through my hair and put it in a low pony tail. I went downstairs. I heard voices coming from the kitchen. I went in there.
Zayn, Liam and Niall were sitting in the dining table and Harry was cooking.
"Up already?" Asked Niall.
"Hi to you too." I sassed back.
"Did you sleep well." Zayn asked. Concerned.
"Yeah, the bed was quite comfy." I assured him.
Louis was no where to be seen. I went up to Harry to help him make the breakfast.
"Let me help you." I proposed.
"You cook?" He asked.
"Nah," i shrugged, "but i can try."
"Okay, just toast this bread." He said.
He was making bacon and eggs. I did as i was told and turned to him.
"You came up to my room last night?" I asked, raising one eyebrows.
He turned pink at my question.
"Umm yeah I came up to see if you were cold." He said blushing.
"Wait a minute. You were awake? Why didn't you reply to me?" He asked shocked.
"Because I was too tired and sleepy to say something." I laughed.
Someone cleared their throat. Me and Harry turned around to see a messy haired, angry but cute looking Louis in the door of the kitchen.
"Seems like someone's having a lot of fun with the hairy beast." He glared at harry.
Harry ignored him and went back to making the breakfast.
"Come sit Louis, leave the kid alone." Said Liam.
Louis sat in the chair next to zayn across Liam and Niall. We made the breakfast and served it to the boys. "Come let's eat too." Said Harry to me and lead me to the seat next to him and across Louis. I got seated there. Louis kept sneaking glances at me. I ignored him.
He liked me. That I knew because that may be the only reason why he tried to kiss me. Or he might be fooling around with you, my subconscious added.
"Haze, as you are going to stay with us now, for a while. You better get some new clothes, eh? As you don't have much. I mean you didn't bring much clothes and stuff with you. I would have taken you, but I have to go to Perrie's parent's house for dinner and Liam too is busy with Sophia today. Niall and Louis are too irresponsible for this-"
"I am not irresponsible."  Louis cut in.
"Yeah right Louis, as if i don't know you well. So, as I was saying, Harry can take you shopping, eh? Fine with you?" Asked Zayn.
"Yeah, s'fine with me." I told him.
Louis huffed while keeping his eyes low on his food and we all continued eating.
Later, Harry came to me and asked to get ready to go shopping. I just wore some jeans and a hoodie with the same top and some sneaker. And off we went.
We reached the mall and started browsing through the various shelves of clothes at various shops. I tried on some clothes and bought which I liked. We got out of the shop and Harry spoke up.
"You want ummm." He pointed at a shop. My eyes followed his hand to see Victoria's Secrets written on a large shop filled with mostly pink coloured lingeries.
"Ummm no thank you." I said awkwardly. My voice barely coming out.
"Okay good." He said. "You
hungry?"
"yeah." I said trying to eliminate the awkwardness.
We went to Burger King and ordered two burgers with some fries.
"So, Louis does not like you?" I asked Harry.
"What makes you think that?" He asked me.
" He has been glaring at you since yesterday." I told him.
"He isn't usually like that. He likes me a lot. We are best friends. But i've noticed that too. He has been ignoring me since..... you know, what happened yesterday." He explained.
"Hmmmm." I nodded back.
Harry's POV
She is oblivious to the fact that Louis likes her. How could she? Was she that innocent?
"Do you.... not know?" I asked her cautiously.
"Not know what?" She asked me.
"Why Louis did what he did." I asked her.
"Why he tried to kiss me? I don't know. I haven't quite asked him. Not even faced him after that. I am confused, since i don't know him. Maybe he likes me, but at the same time i have the thought that he might be fooling around with me. I don't know him. You know him. You tell me." She asked me.
"Well, this is the first time I have seen him like this. He never does this. He is really choosy in the matter of girls. He had one girlfriend since i had known him. And they broke up like 6 months ago." I told her.
She didn't reply. Maybe she was swallowing it all in. This was new for her, not easy. We finished our food and i took her to an Apple shop.
"What phone do you have?" I asked her.
"iPhone 4s." She replied.
"I would like to buy an iPhone 6s in Rose Gold colour." I said to the guy behind the counter.
I payed for it and presented it to her.
"No, I can't take it." She said.
"It's a gift from a friend. Will you be my friend? Like best friend?" I asked her.
"Better than Louis?" She asked me.
"Better than Louis." I replied.
We both smiled and went back home.
