✘Unwanted Dance✘

One new message from: Gray ♬

I hate dancing. Absolutely hate it. Especially the formal type. Or at least I did until I meet a prodigy. She can play any instrument and dance with incredible grace. I bet you're wondering how did that get you to like dancing? Well.. to be honest with you, it didn't. Not at first. You see, people can say what they want about prodigies or whatever but sometimes they aren't so fullfilled.

No matter how they seem.

Some of them still can have something they haven't done or failed at doing.

It all started by mistake.

"I have to do what?" I ask my mom as my eye twitched slightly. "Learn how to dance.. For the ceremony." The woman states it bluntly like it doesn't matter, as if she doesn't remember that her own son has two left feet and absolutely hates dancing. I mean I was a rocker for heavensake. I did not dance."But why?" I whine as my siblings snicker at me. "Because you looked like an idiot at the last ceremony." My older brother, Lyon smirked. "It's not so bad, ya know." He added. My parents always renewed their vows through a big, gawdy (in my oppinon), party that involved tons of people I'd rather not talk to. "There is no way I'm doing it." I say firmly reaching for the box of cereal that my older sister had practically claimed as hers. Ultear slaps my hand away without looking up. "You'll do it. I know someone who might be willing to teach you." She smiled but there was an aura about her that said if I disobeyed her I'd rue the day or whatever creepy thing she could think of. "At your girly school? I'm good." I smirk as Lyon highfives me. "Oh.. You're still bitter about your lost? Sad." Ultear grinned causing both me and Lyon to cringe. Maybe it wasn't the smartest idea to send us to opposite rival schools but my parents loved competing so in hindsight it was fate that Lyon and I wanted to go to Sabertooth and Ultear wanted to go to Fairytail.

"Ul-nee..." I frowned as she ruffled my hair. "You're doing it." She smiles. My dad chuckled as he hugged my mom and winked at Ul.
"That's my princess. Control the rebels." Lyon and I glare at him as everyone else laughs. "I'll take you to meet your dance instructor after school lil bro." She winks and she heads towards the door. Lyon starts teasing me as we get in the car but Ultear slams on brakes causing him to hit his head slightly. "Lyon. For teasing our brother, you're coming with him." My brother looked dejected, "Aw what?! He's so easy to pick on.. Plus you pick on him too, Onee-chan." He countered as Ultear sighs. "While that may be true. You're still coming." And with that she drove us to school with an overly pale Lyon groaning the whole way.

"Aw sucks for you, Fullbuster." My best friend, Natsu patted me on the back as I told him the horror story that was my life. "I know. Do they not understand how awkward and horrible and annoying and.. and.." Natsu cuts me off with a bored look. "I get it. You hate it. Suck it up." Ladies and gentlemen, my best friend. A boy with limited empathy towards me. I notice he'd been texting alot lately so I casually leaned over him to read.

My friend is complaining about dancing -_-///

Celestial: Aw comfort him, Natsu

I got bored. He's not interesting at all. He got all monologuey.

Celestial: Natsuu.. Do what I do. Nod and smile *^▁^*

You're such a girl.

Celestial: I AM a GIRL Baka.

Oh really now? I didn't notice (-‿◦)

Celestial: Just shut up stupid Natsu ∪ˍ∪

"Oi. I didn't know you met someone." I smirk as he faces me. "Yeah.. We're not like.. talking like that just friends." He mumbled. He was hiding something. "Do ya like her?" The pinky nodded. "Luce is cool. She knows alot about Astrology and.. English.. And.." I had an unintersted look on my face. "Oi! Don't just get bored!" He huffs causing me to snicker. "Not my fault. You were getting all monologuey~"

"Shut up!"

Natsu had tried to help me hide from my sister after school of course that plan failed. How we completely forgot her best friend was our class president? I have no clue. She ended up dragging both me and Lyon into her beloved school. "Ultear-san.." A blonde and a tiny bluenette sweat dropped as we were dragged into their auditorium.

"I don't want to be here! I don't want to be he-..."

I was cut off when I saw a pale bluenette on the stage dancing gracefully. I didn't know the name of the song but I was at lost for words. Her feet barely seemed to hit the ground as they obeyed her every command. She twisted and shifted without much struggle. It was ballet. No it was interpretative. No.. it was something else entirely. It was.. grace. Her eyes were navy blue and cold as ice. I was drawn in and I couldn't look away. She gracefully stopped mid turn and locked eyes on me. Her friend with pink hair and ruby eyes hadn't stop playing and singing as the melody filled my ears. I noticed Lyon had stopped complaining as well. He was drawn in by the singer like I was drawn in my the dancer. "Hello.. Juvia is pleased to teach you the art of dancing." Her voice was soft and firm.

That was the day I really SAW dancing. Thanks to her grace that drew me in for something so much bigger than what I thought.
