I was determined to find her. I didn't want to go out searching for Sarai without a good breakfast though. I had gone downstairs to the lobby to get my breakfast, muffins. I put four chocolate chip muffins on a plate and was making my way back up to my room, 677.

Just as I put the key card in the reader and turned the handle of my hotel room door, I heard a scream. Screams all sound the same to me. This isn't like fanfiction where the main character's lover hears a scream and automatically knows that it's their lover. This is real life.

I followed the loud noise and found myself standing at the door. I put my ear up to it so I could hear what was going on. It didn't sound like things were going well in there so I decided to knock on the door. I looked confident on the outside but on the inside I was scared shitless. What if some big guy was behind the door and ready to beat me up?

I heard someone say "Stay here, bitch" as the person unlocked the hotel door. When the door opened, I felt my pulse beating rapidly. I didn't know what to say so I said the first thing that came to my mind.

"Hello there Sir. Room service informed me that you ordered some muffins." I waved my hands over the plate of delicious muffins. The guys eye's wondered over to the plate and he did the unspeakable.

"I did not order fucking muffins!" He yelled as he hit the plate forcefully causing it to fall to the floor. The plate was shattered and my muffins were scattered all across the nasty hotel carpet. Just as I was about to turn around, something caught my attention. It was a pair of hands waving up and down.

Then I saw the eyes of the person who was signaling my attention. It was the familiar eyes of the one and only Sarai.

The man started to slam the door when I pushed hard on the door keeping it open. I ran into the room looking for Sarai.

Just one problem, she was no where in sight.

a/n thank you so much for all the reads, votes and comments! I hoped you enjoyed this chapter! I'm writing Sarai and Shawn's past so you can see how their relationship builds but in a couple more chapters I'm going to start to write in the present.
