I arrived to school late as always, I walked into the building my big clunky boots echoing off of the linoleum floor of the empty hallway.

"You need a pass young man you're late." A nearby teacher yelled.

But I ignored him or her and kept walking not paying them any attention. Once I rounded the corner I let out a sigh and roamed the halls looking for a bathroom.

I stood in front of the sink and pretended to wash my hands. While I pulled out a white folded piece of paper. My schedule.

I unfolded it scanning for my first class. A.P. English 3100 Mr Harper. Alright room 3100 was upstairs I think, I don't know, I guess I'll just roam around until I find it.

I folded my schedule back up and stuck it in my pocket.

I found the stairwell and eventually found A.P. English. I barged in without knocking. The door hit the wall with a bang.

The teacher turned to look at me, he picked up a piece of paper from his desk, he scanned it before speaking.

"You must be.. Ethan." He boomed looking at me from over his glasses.

I shoved my hands in my pocket and gave a curt nod. He looked me over.

"Take a seat." He said.

I moved swiftly through the aisles not bothering to close the door. I caught multiple girls staring at me, mouths wide open.

I smirked knowing I already had them wrapped around my finger the moment I walked in.
I took a seat next to a brunette with green eyes. She was pretty, not enough for me to actually pay attention to her though.

But she acknowledged me anyway turning to say "Hi". She was wearing a low cut tank top. I got a pretty good look of her jugs.

Eh they were alright, I looked back up at her. She had a smirk plastered on her face. I flashed my toothy grin and faced forward again.

This class and second period ended pretty quickly. I was currently walking into the cafeteria. Heads turning as I walked by.

I didn't feel like eating instead I searched for an empty table. I didn't see one. My eyes landed on a table filled with nerdy freshmans.

I approached the table, they all looked up at me like a deer caught in headlights. I stood there for a minute, anxiety flashing through their eyes.

I cocked my eyebrow, suddenly jerking forward causing them to grab their books and scatter.

I shook my head and laughed, I pulled out my phone and pulled up the book I was currently reading. Of Mice And Men.

I had been reading for a couple of minutes  so engulfed in it I didn't see the two girls standing in front of me.

I put my phone down and looked at them.

"Hi, I-I'm Desiree and me and my friend were wondering if you wanted to come join us at our table?"

"Are you trying to pity me?" I asked annoyed already.

"No I wasn't I was just-"

"Look I don't fucking care what the hell you were trying to do just leave me the fuck alone ok."

Her mouth fell open, and her hazel green eyes held anger.

"Well jeez I was just trying to be nice you didn't have to be fucking rude." She spat before turning on her heel the other girl following after.

I watched her go back to her table. She sat down next to a black girl. She had dark brown hair that fell past her shoulder blades. She had full lips and high cheekbones.

She was beautiful, I'd never shown interest in a black girl before mostly because the ones back home were prostitutes.

I watched her laugh and smile with her friends for the entire lunch period. Finally the lunch bell rang and everyone left out. I waited awhile for the hallways to clear. Then I got up.

I sauntered down the hallways taking my sweet time taking in the school and actually looking at it. It had brick columns in the main hallway and a big staircase in the middle of it.

Vending machines lined the walls. This school was way cleaner then the one back home. It was time for third period which was advanced chemistry downstairs.

I turned the corner and ran into a girl. I fell back on my butt while her purse contents went flying across the floor. I looked up at her, it was the black girl from lunch.

I immediately felt the butterflies in my stomach.

"I'm so sorry." She cried.

I smiled at the sound of her voice, she sounded like a country white girl.

She knelt down to retrieve her stuff, I stopped day dreaming.

"Yeah well just don't fucking do it again." I spat at her.

So much for the butterflies in my stomach I thought.

She looked at me her dark eyes pouring into mine. She picked up her mascara and put it in her bag.

"Helloo! Are you fucking deaf?" I yelled.

"No I'm not fucking deaf." She replied not looking up. Her volume stayed the same but her tone changed.

She scanned the floor again, "Where's my lipstick?"

I looked and saw it underneath my boot. I kicked it over to her.

"Gee thanks." She said sarcastically.

"Whatever." I muttered before getting up.

She did the same swinging her purse under her arm.

She looked me over, "What's with the whole..." She gestured at me.

"The whole.. What?"

"The whole....bad boy act?"

"Who the fuck said this was a bad boy act?"

"She smirked before she said, "Your leather jacket."
