"As you wish." Wesley yells out as he rolls down the hill, leaving Buttercup gasping and rolling down after him.
"I wish life was like that sometimes." I admit, popping a gummy bear in my mouth.
"Like what? How the guy always gets the girl, and the villain is slain in the end?" Asher questions, laughter leaking into his voice. I nod, laughing myself at how silly it sounds.
"When you put it like that," I chuckle, swallowing the bear and taking a swig of root beer. Asher snorts, tossing a piece of popcorn in the air, but it lands on my forehead instead of in his mouth causing an eruption of laughter between the two of us.
"I hope it can stay like this." I whisper after the laughter dies.
"I know."
