Sorry I haven't really updated recently but I have had a lot of school work lately and then finals but its summer now so I decided y'all deserve a little something.

After I got my breath Axel pushed the door open. When I didn't walk in he came up behind me and gave me a shove and then followed me into the office.

"Hey! That wasn't very nice! I thought you were going to walk in ahead of me! You didn't have to push me! How was I supposed to kn-" it was then that I noticed the women sitting behind the desk with an amused look on her face.

"Sorry ma'am." I said with a blush rising on my face.

"That's quite alright. I agree that that was rude of Axel considering you didn't know if he was going to walk in first or not. And please call me Sloane."

"Ok, I get it. It's my fault for pushing and not telling you to go in. Blah blah blah. Can we please get on with it. I'm really tired. I get cranky when I'm tired. Adien I'm sorry I pushed you."

When he started talking he sounded mad but when he said the last sentence he really did seem sorry so I nodded my head in acceptance of his apology.

"Now that that's settled lets get down to why you're here. Please Axel will you would close the door and both of you take seats?"

We were quick to follow her instructions and when we were seated Sloane started to talk again.

"Why do you think you're here Adien?"

"I have no idea why." I answered honestly.

"For starters it has to do mostly because if your father."

"What does this have to do with my father? Do you know where he is? Is he still alive? What does this have to do with me?"

"I have an answer to all of your questions but first I need to tell you a story."

"Um,ok?" I'm starting to think that everyone in this building is crazy.

"Thousands of years ago there were two types of man that roamed the earth, humans obviously and then another race that people no longer believe in. The other race wasn't exactly human. They looked, acted, and sounded just like humans but they weren't. They were the children of fallen angles and demons. These children had powers no one could imagine. When humans evolved and started to think that they were the dominant species they revolted against this other race. The legend is said that God was angry at his children, the angles, for first of all falling from Heaven but also for mating with demons from hell. So he bestowed apon the humans a sword with which could kill anything that weren't his cherished creations. The humans used this sword to kill until almost everyone that wasn't human was gone. Those that weren't murdered went into hiding and only used their powers in the most dire of situations. To this day there are only a couple of thousands of this other race around the world. They have had many names from wizards and witches to Druids and priest but it is said that the original name for the race was because the children of the angles would look to the sky and hope that God would accept them an let them live. They were called stargazers and that is what we go by to this day."

Wow that was a lot of information that didn't sound real at all.

"Ok. That's a nice story but what does this myth have to do with anything? It's just a story right so why are you telling me?"

"That's because it isn't a myth." Axel said.

"What? You guys are crazy." They couldn't actually believe that these people really existed can they?

"It's true. Not only do they exist but you are talking to two of them right now. And what's more, you are on as well."

"Bullshit! You actually think that I am going to believe that you guys are some kind if magical beings and that I am too?!"

"Yes." Sloane said as if it was obvious. I just stared at her.

"Would you like us to prove it?" Axel broke the silence when it started to become heavy.

"Yeah. You do that." I really think that these people are crazy.

Axel stood up and walked over so that he was in front of me. Then he closed his eyes and held out his hands. A second later there was now an apple sitting in his hands. My mind was trying to come up with someway to disprove that that hadn't just come out of thin air.

Axel opened his eyes a smiled down at me. All of the sudden the apple flew from his hands and landed in Sloanes hands. The apple them levitated up to her mouth and she took a bite from it. And then somehow the apple flew to the trashcan across the room.

There was no way that this was real. I had to be dreaming. I slapped my face but nothing changed and it hurt so that meant I was awake. Shit! This means that they really have magical powers.

"O-okay. So you guys have magical powers. Good for you. You have the wrong guy though. I don't have magical powers."

"Sure you do. Have there been any weird coincidences that you've had?" Axel had taken his seat again while Sloane started to talk to me again.

"W-well one time on my 5 birthday I was blowing out the candles on my cake and all the lights turned off. The weird thing is that it was only our house that lost power. Then I wished that the lights would come back on and they did. But that was just a coincidence. That wasn't me doing magic.

"If that doesn't convince you would you like to try and do some right now?"

"If nothing happens will you guys let me go?"

"Yes." Sloane said but I could see in her eyes that she thought something was going to happen.

"Ok, fine. What do I have to do?"

"Hold out your hands and close your eyes. Imagine some fruit. Imagine its color, what it taste like, what it feels like."

I followed her instructions and started to imagine an orange. I imagined its color and the smooth yet bumpy texture. Then I imagined the sweet yet tangy taste of it. As I was imagining the orange I felt something appear in my hands.

It was an orange.

"Shit."
