That night was a silent night
I looked up at the sky, half expecting to see a spectacular sight, a shooting star or something. but nothing was there. I tried to make something out of the formation of the clouds. but nothing. i squinted. there was something in the distance! i slowly turned around, and quickly walked in the opposite direction. then i heard running, i walked faster! the running got louder! i sprinted ahead, wind rushing my face. i heard a grunt behind me. my legs raced forward. suddenly the running stopped. i turned around, tall gloomy buildings loomed over the city, but no one was in sight i looked around some more, only darkness, and the occasional raccon. i tried to spot the man, but nothing. i walked home looking behind my back. i had a strange sense of deja-vu. thats all i remember before i collapsed.
