Cheyenne is 5' 2", has waist length black wavy hair, emerald eyes, successful artist, extremely shy. She usually only wears sweats and a t shirt because she is always painting and doesn't want to ruin any of her other clothes.

Her mother recently married Jason, she likes him, but never really says much to him. She also knows who Ryder is and he scares her. He hasn't even spoken to her but she's afraid because he's so big. When he came to the house, she was getting ready to go out front and take some pictures of the sunset to paint, but when she opened the door he was there and scared her, so she ran.

Her mother found her and made her come back in and apologize. She was now leading him out to her studio in the backyard. She didn't really want anybody in there, but she didn't feel like she had a choice. They walked past the pool, hot tub and outdoor shower, to the small building in the back. Walking up to the door, she stopped and turned to look at Ryder.

He said, "Baby girl, we don't have to go in. We'll sit right out here and talk, okay?" She shyly nodded, keeping her head down. Ryder led Cheyenne to the outdoor dinette set and pulled her chair out and then took the other and put it in front of her. After sitting he took both of her tiny hands in his large ones and said, "Ok, little one, I want you to tell me what's going on. I know Jason told me some of it, but I want to hear it in your own words."

She stared at him and slowly shook her head no and said softly, "I don't want to, I'm scared."

Ryder picked her up and sat her in his lap and said, "Baby, I'm not gonna let anyone hurt you ok? I need to know what happened, where it happened and if you know who this asshole is."

She hid her grin behind her hair and looked up at the trees across the yard. She sat there on his lap for a few more minutes, and when she was about to say something she heard her mom calling her name. Ryder stood and set her gently down and they both walked in the house. It was time for her mom Jason to leave for the airport. Ryder was going to take them, but she didn't want to go with them. She quietly said, "I don't want to go, what if he sees me?" Her mom told her she could stay and Ryder would be back shortly. Since it was already dark, she decided to go to her studio and work for an hour before getting ready for bed.
