Gretchen licked her nose then took a step forward. "Meow, Mew, Moew" Kitten bit his whisker.
"Meow" He didn't have a clue who she was or why she was there. Gretchen purred
"Mew, Meow" the adrenaline drained from Kitten's body. His sister! This child was his sister? His mother had died five years ago, how was this possible?
"Meow meow meow meow meow meow" Gretchen growled and crouched at the comment. This insolent creature. How did he not understand?
"Mew, Meow" Gretchen replied. Kitten had to create a compromise. He would house this...sibling, for a week until she proved to be his sister.
"Meow, meow, mew," Kitten explained. Gretchen responded with a purr. She jumped to the windowsill and gazed at the empty street. She cowered in fear as she saw a ginger tom with a cut across his back. He glared at her, his blue eyes glowing in the moonlight.
"Rawr" kitten murmured under his breath. He had to take care of this scaredy cat. He jumped up next to Gretchen and glared at Roddy. He hissed and hobbled away, a trail of blood following his tracks. Kitten didn't admit it, but a small seed of fear was sprouting in his heart as well.
