Getting to know him

He said "well hello there how are you today?" I said "I'm so sorry and good how are you?" He said " good and what's your name love?" I said " Paige what's yours?" He said " Louis."

After we talked for awhile he asked me out I said yes so tonight he was going to take me out. I finished getting ready and the babysitter came over. About fifteen minutes later Louis was here and we left.

In the middle of dinner he said "when shall we go out next?" I said " Friday?" He said "sounds great pick you up at seven okay?" I said okay."

He was driving me home when we see lights and sirens coming from my street. I said "oh no hurry and see what house it is?" He said "it's yours love." I said " omg omg please god please let Mina be okay."

When we got out of his car the police tried to stop us when I said " that's my house what's going on?!?!" He said "mama I afraid your daughter Mina was hit by a car speeding when she was playing on her inch worm toy in the road." I said " and who in the hell was watching her?" He said "the sitter Tina was inside watching a movie with some guy." He said " we had to bust the door down to get in." I said " okay she is fired but where is my daughter and is the person responsible in custody?" The officer said " your daughter is in a comma in the children's hospital and the driver has not been found." I said " okay I'm going to the hospital and said Louis will you drive me please you don't have to stay I just need a ride?" He said " of course I will and I am going to stay if its okay with you." I said " yes it's fine." And on the note we were off.

When we finally arrived I got her room number and we went to her room. I walked in as Louis followed. When I saw her I fell to my knees and cried and cried and cried until there where no more tears to cry. Louis was holding my hand and hugging me and was telling me everything was going to be okay. Me and my mom weren't talking because of the custody battle and all but I decided to call her.

The phone rang twice and she picked up. I said " mom I know we aren't talking but I need to tell you something." She said " okay tell me." I said " there is no easy way to say this Mina was hit by a car while in the road playing on her inch worm the sitter was inside and I was on a date she is in room 214 at the children's hospital." My mom said " oh dear I am on my way." And she ended the phone call.

Louis said " who was that?" I said " my mom that was the first time in a long time we have talked without fighting." He said " well that's good." I said " yes yes it is."

When my mom finally arrived we where all sitting around and we ran out of seats so I was sitting in Louis lap. My mom finally said " I think we need to talk Paige." I said " okay let's talk." She said " can you please have this kind boy step out?" I said " Louis will you go into the hall for a moment?" He said " yes text if you need me." I said " ok thanks." My mom said " I have come to the decision that I am going to grant you full custody of Mina when we go to court tomorrow." I said " okay thank you." She said " don't thank me thank you." I said " your welcome. So mom are we okay?" She said " yes." And gave me a big hug one of witch I needed. I was going to give her a minute with Mina.

I walked out into the hall to find Louis on the phone. He was talking to someone and we he saw me. He said " okay I have to go just bring me my clothes for two months." And hung up the phone. I said " if you don't mind me asking who was that?" He said " it was Harry." I said " okay so guess what?!?!" He said " I don't know what?!?!?" I said " my mom is granting my full custody of Mina tomorrow!!" He said " that's great." And kissed me. Of course I blushed. Louis said " Paige will you be my girlfriend." I said " I don't know can you handle all of this?" He said " well of course." I said " well of course then." He said " hurray." I just laughed and we entered the room.

My mom was leaning of Mina hugging and kissing her forehead while crying I went over to her and just hugged her and said " it will be okay I love you." She said " I love you to." I said " okay well I'm going to send you home to get some rest be at the court at six am tomorrow okay?" She said " see you there." And with that she left.

Louis and me where talking and decided to go my clothes. We arrived at my house and went in I packed for two months and we left. We arrived at the hospital and went to Mina's room we walked in and I said " Louis ." He said " please call me boobear." I said " okay boobear you don't have to stay." He said " but I'm not leaving until everything is okay." I smiled and hugged and kissed him good night. We pulled out the chair bed and he sat down and I laid on him and fell asleep.
