Recap:
"Yeah just a really bad nightmare. I get them sometimes." I explain.
"Well you're safe here. Goodnight Ryleigh." He says for the second time today.
"Goodnight Asher." I reply while getting more comfortable. I lay there wide awake to scared to close my eyes. Out of nowhere I feel Asher's arms wrap around my waist. He pulls me closer to him and I instantly relax. My eyes start getting heavier and heavier until they finally close and I slip into sleep for the second time tonight.

I wipe the fog off the mirror and stare at my reflection. Look at how my wet chocolate brown hair looks like a pile of sticks, how my eyes have never been greener and how I really need to pluck my eyebrows.

We got back from the cottage about 2 hours ago. Since then I found out that Asher's going to hang out with some of his buddies from football and we wants me to go with. So I had to jump in the shower and get all the salt and nasty out of my hair from swimming last night.

I dry off my body and start getting dressed. I put on a white tie back cami, black high waisted jeans and ankle socks. Then I start towel drying my hair as much as possible so I don't have to damage it as much with the blow dryer. I then plug in the blow dryer and start drying my hair. I finish that and go on to straightening it.

I finally finish and unplug the straightener and the blow dryer. I make my way across the hall to my room to grab my phone. I grab it and see there's a text from Landon.

'Hey Ry:)) I know I haven't texted you since I left but things have just been super hectic. My important appointment is tomorrow and I promise to call you right after its done. I love you xox' It reads.
'Hey Lanny:)) you better call me shithead. I hope everything goes well and you're having a least some fun while you're up there. Ly2 xox' I text back and then slip it in my back pocket.

I wonder if Asher's ready yet, I think while walking down to the guest room. I knock on the door and there's no answer. I knock again and same thing. I crack open the door and emerge through. I don't see him, I think while turning the corner. And as soon as I do, I see him standing there at his closet only in his black Hollister sweatpants, obviously looking for a shirt.

"I am so sorry." I say as we make eye contact.
"No it's fine." He says shaking his head and turning back to his closet. I watch as his long fingers flip through every shirt he owns. He groans in frustration.
"I think you should wear this one." I say walking past him and pulling out a white quarter length shirt with grey sleeves.
"Thanks." He says taking it off the hanger and putting it on. "Does it look ok?" He questions.
"Looks more then ok." I say smiling. I walk out of his room and make my way back to mine. I walk over to the closet and grab my white converse high tops. I slip them on and lace them up. I call to Asher and tell him I'll meet him in the car and I make my way downstairs. I see Matthew sitting in the kitchen as I pass it and I wave and smile.

"You heading out?" He questions.
"Yeah I'm a little nervous to be honest." I say laughing a bit.
"Well my tips for you are to just have fun and watch out for Luke." He says smiling.
"Thank you." I say smiling back.
"No problem. Now you go have fun."
"See you later." I say walking out the door and to Asher's car.

I sit there scrolling through Instagram for a good 10 minutes. Then Asher comes running out and jumps in the car. He looks over at me and flashes me his perfect smile.

"Took long enough." I pick.
"Hey it takes time to looks this good." He says winking at me and starting the car. You looked that good when you woke up this morning, I think as he pulls out of his driveway and drives down our street.

He pulls up to the school and I automatically see a group of guys playing football on the field. I get butterflies in my stomach when I think of what Matthew said about this Luke guy. I take a deep breath and look over at Asher.
