Oakland's Cruelest: Chapter 9
As time progressed, my drug addiction increased. I kept trying so hard to get that hallucinational visit from Death again. His Angel is always right there to give me a death kiss and whisper in tongues the plagued promised temptations of the Devil but Death never showed himself.
Could I possibly be Death's fear? If so, I know Viticus would be proud to know that I had Death himself too scared to approach me.
"The four of 'em are in the office." D-Dot said and I gave a nod of my head. I stood up from the table, putting out the cigarette before walking to the office. All four boys sat there just staring at me with confused looks until the one at the very end furrowed his eyebrows at me to accompany a hard stare. The one right next to him looked at me as if trying to figure out if I was a threat or not.
"We're gonna find out just how to classify you four and see how we should train you y'all." I said as D-Dot brought in a member from a rival gang. He was tied up and had a ball gag in his mouth before being bent over the table. The four just stared at me. "You see this member? How he has an orange bandana?" They nodded. "He reps a rival gang known as Double O-G, these niggas fuck with our money and we don't like them so we have to get rid of them."
Reaching into the desk, I pulled out a large knife. Their reactions are what I was studying. I forced the body to stand up, looking up to the ceiling so his neck was fully exposed. I took the knife and dragged it across the flesh, ripping through it with ease as the blood came pulsating out through the served veins and arteries. The two on the left instantly looked away in horror while the two on the right continued to watch. I dropped the body on the table and completely decapitated the rest of the head, letting it drop down to the ground.
"Take the two on the left out. Keep the two on the right." I instructed to D-Dot. Not even as much as a flinch of squeamishness came from these two on the right. "What are your names."
"I'm Varo."
"And I'm Arlie." Arlie growled back at me in a tone fueled by underlying aggression. It put a devilish smirk to my face.
"By just looking at you four I can already classify you all. Dominant & Defiant for Arlie and Varo. Submissive and Obedient for Lexis and Javier." My eyes flickered to each of them till Lexis and Javier were escorted out.
"I'm not about to deal with your bullshit." Arlie continued to growl at me. I walked up to him and got down to his eye level. To see so much fury and rage in such a young child enlightened me.
"Yes you will. I can guarantee you absolute success if all you do is follow my instructions." I said still staring at him. I moved over to Varo and those bright green eyes stared back at me as well. "Fortune and power is what I can get all of you. So that by the time you reach twenty, you'll be able to retire and never worry about money till Death comes." Those eyes lightened even more and I smiled.
"What do we gotta do?" Varo asked.
"I have to train you. So you don't end up dying in the streets." The both of 'em remained staring at me blankly. "You don't want to die do you?" I asked the both of them.
"What do you mean train? Nigga we're out in the streets every day, we know how to handle ourselves." Arlie continued to growl at me. I wanted to know what happened if he was provoked. The vibes of nothing but violence radiated off this child and it made me want to push him to the edge.
"You clearly don't. That night I jumped you, you couldn't even fight off my members. You're just a weak child." I said back to him. "You on the other hand, you have eagerness-"
