The next day, I got a text from Lilith: "Meet me tonight, we need to talk."
As the day went on, I looked out for Lilith. I tried distancing myself from her. I didn't need any drama.
"Hey, Gray! Come and meet my friends!" Lilith yelled.
Dammit! Why is it every time that I don't want something happening, it occurs. Why?
"Um, sure. Hi, how are all of you?" I asked.
Why does she want me around? Is this her whole killing group?
"Oh we are fine, we have heard a lot about you Mr.Gray. Why haven't we seen you around school before?" Lilith's friend questioned
Oh, I don't know maybe because you are snooty bitches, is what I would've said if Lilith wasn't around.
"Oh, I stay to myself most of the time. I don't have any friends really, never have." I said embarrassing myself. Jesus Christ, I sound emo.
"You are pretty cute, I am surprised I haven't heard more people talking about you." Lilith's other friend replied.
"Um, thanks, I guess." I replied.
At this point, I was getting uncomfortable, what is Lilith up to?
When I got home later that night, Jamon awaited me at the door.
"Hey, how was school?" Jamon asked.
"Oh, it was alright, why?" I asked cautiously.
"Well, there have been quite a few disappearances in the past month. I was hoping you knew something about them, the police department needs help. So far, four male students and two females have gone missing, the last thing any of their friends knew was that they were meeting someone. Do you know who that might be? Anyone seem suspicious?" Jamon interrogated.
For a moment, he almost seemed to lighten up, giving a very brief smile.
"Not that you associate with potential murderers, but...Give it some thought, son. We want to keep students safe in this town. Think of Lilith..... What if some sick mother went into her house, and...... Well, that's not something to talk about. I'm just concerned for you, Gray."
"Uh no, I have no friends except for the neighbor, how in the hell am I supposed to know?" I replied. I really hope he won't catch up to Lilith anytime soon. She is probably too attractive to confront.
"Yeah, you're right. It was a silly question, but if you find out anything, anything just tell me okay kiddo?" Jamon asked.
"Yeah, fine" I replied anxiously.
