Remembering you

I want my Mommy!

Spencer's POV
I see Addlyn running around yelling, "look what I can do mommy!" She says attempting to do a cartwheel.

"She's a special one" Toby said as he kissed my cheek. I turned to face him "I love you. You know that?" "I love you too, now let's go play with our little monkey" he said taking my hand.

My eyes pop open it was a dream an amazing dream. Did that really happen? Is this my imagination messing with me?
I looked at the little girl sleeping next to me. She looked just like the one in my dream. she looked just like Toby. I don't think I can do this. I don't think I can be apart of this family. They are amazing people but how am I even suppose to believe they are my family. I just want my mom, my dad, and Melissa. I don't want these random strangers here.

"Hey" I here Toby say noticing I'm awake. "Hey look I love that you and this little girl are trying to be my family but I don't even know how I'm supposed to believe you I just want my family." I scream waking Addlyn up.
"Spence we are your family." Toby says I can see the tears forming in his eyes. "I want my mom and my dad and mellisa!" I scream again, "and until used them I don't want to see you either!" I say with a harsh tone.
"If that's why you want", he says tears talking falling down his face. "That's what I want." I say a little bit calmer.
Toby picks up Addlyn, "hey monkey let's go home okay." He said calmly. "But I want to stay with mommy until she gets better!" She cries. "I know baby but we have to go" his tears start to fall faster. Addlyn grabs my arm,"mommy please let me stay."
"I'm sorry but I can't right now." I say.
Toby picks her up and says, "you haven't talked to your parents in 7 years but I'll see what I can do." Then he just walks out the door.
