Bitten

Five to Fifteen [Chapter one]

Hazel eyes darted to a wrapped box about the size of a music box. Sabrina Rose Heartlock, a five year old little girl with long curly brown hair and freckles dusted onto her cheeks. "Happy fifth birthday Bri" her mother who had blue eyes and short curly black hair said with a smile. Sabrina smiled at her mother, her top left canine tooth had fallen out the day before. Her little hands carefully removed the wrapping from the box and opened the little cardboard box to reveal a small charm bracelet with an eighth note, a heart and a camera charm. Along with the charm bracelet was a golden heart-shaped locket and a camera.

Her hazel eyes lit up as she held the camera and let her mom put the locket and charm bracelet on her. "Thank you mommy!" she said in a sweet cheerful tone. Sabrina's dad, in which she got her hazel eyes and freckles from strolled in with his hand behind his back and a bright smile planted on his face, when he got to her he pulled his arm in-front of him to show a stuffed bear with black and brown fur. She took hold of the bear and hugged it close to her "thank you daddy" she said cheerily before she hugged both her parents tightly. 

Ten years later 

Sabrina was turning fifteen and she had her hair died lime green in the front, sort of like a thick stripe on her right side. Her hands grabbed a green MP3 player off a stand before she strolled out the door, plugging her earbuds in and putting them in her ears. She stuffed the MP3 player into the large pocket of her black hoodie as she walked towards her friend Cameron's house. When she arrived she knocked on the door which opened to reveal a blue haired, green eyed beauty. Cameron Lee Jones, a slender Fifteen year old who commonly wore black skinny jeans and a band tee with a zip up black hoodie that had red hems on the sleeves and the hips. "Hey Brina! Katy just got here two minutes ago with her lady friend Shelby" She said with that flawless smile of hers as she let Sabrina in and led her to the living room after shutting the door. "Oh and happy birthday" she added quickly. Sabrina just smiled and nodded in acknowledgment. When she got to the living room she saw Cameron's short brown haired brother Shaun sitting with his boyfriend Carter who wore a beanie over top of his cherry red hair. Shaun wore a falling in reverse band tee and skinny jeans while Carter wore skinny jeans and a blue hoodie that had a little monster face on it. Katy sat beside Shelby, Katy's  long blond hair being played with by the raven haired Shelby. Sabrina let out a huff which made all eyes turn to her Shaun's green, Carter's hazel, Katy's deep brown and Shelby's heterochromic right blue and left brown. "Welcome to the party bithday girl" Shelby said in her soft yet slightly raspy voice. "Hey Bri-Tea" Carter said in his light hearted voice as Shaun smiled at her in acknowledgment, given that he's mute. Katy smiled "Happy birthday Bri-Tea" she said in her rather angelic voice. "I spill tea on a cat named Bri once and it sticks for eternity" Sabrina said with a chuckle in her voice. As the day went on she and her friends went to the pizza place, where they played pool, darts and air-hockey. All together it was really fun.
