Chapter 3

Alayna's POV

"Let's go" I say all excited. I get into the car and see M, Nash, Gray,Cam and Hayes. "Hey everyone" I say smiling. They all say hi at the same time. We all laugh. "Are you gonna back out like you did last year M" says Gray laughing. "This year is a new year and I'm not backing out now it's too late" M says looking a little nervous. "M your so funny" I say laughing. I look over at Ethan, I wink and smile. Here's a little secret... I've liked Ethan since 8th grade, but I never told him. I feel like if I tell him it would ruin our friendship. It's so hard though. I've always dreamed about what it would be like to be his girlfriend. I don't know if he feels the same though. I'll just keep being his best friend until I will be able to tell him.

Ethan's POV

She winks and smiles at me and I smile back. I've been told by Mahogany that she likes me, but I don't know that for sure. I was gonna ask her to homecoming, but I don't know if she feels the same way I do. I mean Alayna is beautiful. Her eyes, her smile, her perfect hair I mean it's just everything is perfect. I know she doesn't think that, but it's true. I wouldn't want anyone to kiss her let alone dating her, but it's not my decision it's hers and I would love for her to be mine. I get so jealous when guys flirt with her. I just want to swoop in and sweep her off of her feet. Ugh how I wish I could do that.

~ at the haunted house~

Alayna's POV

We get our tickets and walk in. There are creepy people following us and I hold on to Ethan and laugh. We start to go in and all I see is black. I hold Ethan tight not letting go. Something pops out and Ethan and I scream at the same time and laugh. We have so much fun.

~After the haunted house~

Ethan's POV

After I dropped everyone off Alayna and I went to her house and watched a movie. She held onto me tight in the haunted house. I really really like her. I'm just going to tell her... Right now.

"Alayna" I say looking at her. "What's up Ethan?" She says smiling. "I need to tell you something and I want you to be totally honest"
"Of course Ethan" she says looking worried.

"Alayna I-I really like you" I say looking at her. She looks up at me and smiles.
