Today was the first day of Hogwarts. I had got up at 5 in the morning because I was to excited to wait. But I had to stay in my room. Severus would not be happy because he has school, too. I waited and waited. Finally he got up and I scurried out of  my room. I was already packed, dressed, and had my bags sitting by the door. "Your up early." Severus said. " I know I was up since 5. I was too excited!" I exclaimed. We then ate breakfast and Severus got ready. When he was ready he said "Remember call me dad in public. You ready?" "yes I remember and yes I am ready." "ok hold on to me" I did and we twirled around and around until we got to an alley that was right beside Kings Cross. "ok ill have to leave you here because I need to be there when the students come. I'll see you there." he said then lightly kissed me on the cheek then apparated out of sight. I then walked in remembering what Severus told me about the opening to the Hogwarts Express. I found platforms 9 and 10 and ran as fast as I could through them. When I got on the platform it was beautiful. There was smoke coming from the train and kids hugging their parents and younger siblings. I put my stuff with the others and got on the train with Amour, my owl. I found an empty compartment and sat down and put in my headphones.  I put on Fall Out Boy and listened to my favorite song "Fourth of July". I got 10 seconds into the song when three boys came in. One was that kid Draco and I didn't know the other two. "Hi Jayda, is this seat taken?" he asked "no" I said and gestured for him to sit down. he did. He looked at me strangely and then looked at my phone. "its called a phone, Draco." I said, noting his confusion. "huh?" he asked "I can listen to music and call people, like owling but faster." I explained. He still looked confused but shrugged it off. Just then, Grace came in carrying her rat, Leroy. As she walked in Draco was staring at her. I nudged him and whispered "You like her" then a light pink came to his cheeks. He was blushing at her! I'll be telling her later.

We finally made it to Hogwarts. When we stepped out of the train a very tall man was calling the first years to follow him. Draco went ahead with his friend and Grace and I stayed farther so we could talk. "You know, I think you have an admirer." I said to Grace. She looked over at me a little freaked out. "really you think so?" she asked a little curios. "Ya I know who, its Draco!" I yelled as loud as I could but also that Draco couldn't hear me "you really think so he didn't seem like it on the train" "Are you kidding me? as soon as you walked in he was blushing. ha has a crush on you." we stayed quiet the rest of the walk. we then got on a boat and saw the castle. I was speechless. Hogwarts is the most beautiful place I've seen.
