Walking home alone,the dull gary path I often would stroll along with Abrielle seemed damp and deserted. Sure the street lights shown brightly, but the sky gave off only darkness. I missed the times where her and I would talk down this road. We would speak away the few minutes it took to walk down the thin stonepath we called a sidewalk. Sometimes we stray from this path, turn into alleyways, go on mini adventures, and one time we got so lost we had to call our mother and father to find us. They were not happy.

In public we're strangers. At home we're friends. Alone we're just us.

I don't understand why we are this way, but then again I don't understand many things.
