It all started when my family moved to Jamestown New York a couple months ago and I was the new kid at the Jamestown high school. Well life in high school being the new kid is not easy. People like to pick on the new kids. Well it all starts when I met this kid named Jake. He was mean the first second, he had a nasty attitude and he just seemed like a not nice person. Well my instincts were right. He was just plain cold when I said hi. He responded by saying eh your not pretty so why should I bother talking to a mess. Your a bum so why should I even say hi. I was hurt that day, not intentionally, but hurt in the heart. I have never been called ugly or a mess and I didn't know how to handle it, so I ran to the bathroom and hid in the stall until he was gone. When he left I ran to my class and didn't say a word. I thought I was handling it fine, but the teachers kept asking me if I felt all right and I just said yeah I'm fine.  But the more I was alone the more I thought that maybe I was a mess, I thought maybe I was ugly and a bum. The more I thought, the more I lost confidence in me. So I never spoke, only if I was called on. For lunch I would bring my lunch and eat my lunch in the bathroom. I was so lonely. I absolutely hated it. No one paid attention to me. It was like I wasn't even there.
