A Hero's Curse (a Percy Jackson fanfic)

"You can come. It's really up to you." I tell my friend, Dj. "Can I bring my-"she asked. "NO! Don't bring your grenades. Lady Artemis said they scare off the game." I finished. "Then what should I bring?" She whined. " I don't know." I replied " What about your dad's sword? After all, Legacies are intitled to all their parents' magical stuff!" I told her knowingly.

"Whatever. We'll talk about it later. Let's go see Ash." I said. I am a 17 year old but I look 15 because no one told me about my godly parent before I joined the hunters. Anyway, I have jet black hair and emerald green eyes. My name is Jaden. My friend, Aasheia, has deep purple eyes and blonde hair. She's a daughter of Athena. Arya, also a daughter of Athena, is my fellow hunter and is practically my sister.

She has jet black hair like me and honey colored eyes. Like me she is 5 foot 6 and has a strong build. Dj is a Legacy, a child of a Demi-god. She's the daughter of Percy Jackson and Annabeth Chase. Dj has blonde hair and green eyes. Alexandria or Alex is the daughter of Poseidon and has long dark hair and pool blue eyes.

"Where are you taking me Jaden? I mean if I go with the hunters?" She pressured. Man it's getting hard to surprise this girl! I thought. " The Solomon Islands." I responded before she could ask another question. "Oh." Was all she had to say.

"Anyway, when do you know who your godly parent is?" She pestered. "In a month, when I'm senior lieutenant." I responded. I frowned as she stopped and stared. "Wha-" I never got to finish my sentence because right in front of me was my dead friend.
