Cori's POV

"Babe, are you ready?" Louis said, coming out of our room in a t shirt and swim trunks. "Yep! All good!" I answered enthusiastically. Louis and I planned to go to the beach and have a picnic today since it's our 2 year anniversary. "Let's get going then," he said, taking my hand in his. We happily strolled out to the car like little kids, just jumping and skipping.

The car ride was silent, but a pleasant silent. I sat there staring out the window, then I saw a cute guy. My eyes popped out of my skull as he jogged along the back road shirtless. "Eyes away from the boy, Cori!" Louis said taking a hand off the steering wheel and playfully slapping me.

"You know nobody could beat you so why are you so self conscious!" I lightly laughed. "Besides, you get to see girls all the time! They all throw themselves at you!" I joked, thinking of all the nine year olds who fight over him on twitter and instagram. He started laughing. "Yeah, because all the seven year olds are totally old enough for me!" he said sarcastically. "Perv," I joked. "Anyways, darlin', we're here!" he exclaimed. "So you don't deny the perv thing?" I laughed. "Nope." he said, again, sarcastically. "

We hopped out of the car and I ran to the beach. "Get back here!" Louis yelled chasing me, dropping our bags. He sped up and I could see him right behind me as I looked back. I blinked and he swooped me up off my feet. "I love you." he whispered, but ending up coughing a little. "Don't try to make your voiuce all crackly!" I laughed.

"Hey!" He pouted for a moment or two before I kissed him on the lips and whispered, "I love you too." Then I hopped down from his grip and said, "And that is how you say 'I love you' in a cute whisper!"

"Oh, you're so mean!" he yelled chasing me again. "To the water!" I shouted. "Can't get me out here!" I exclaimed sticking my tongue out at him. "Challenge accepted!" he declared. He swam over to me as I tried to go under the salt water. I immediately went up to the surface and as he was underwater, ran over to our stuff and starting setting up the picnic.

When he popped out of the water, I yelled to him, "Told you that you couldn't catch me!" He stifled a laugh. "Didn't even try too hard." I playfully hit his chest. We sat on the big red and white checkered blanket and unpacked very food item we had onto it. "This feels so cliche... But I love it." I giggled.

We fed each other food like french fries, pizza, and even this giant cookie he found at the store and couldn't resist. At the end of our picnic and day at the beach, we were both smiling. He gently pushed me against the car and brushed my hair out of my face. "Happy 2 whole years, sweetheart."
