When I woke up I was in a room with cement walls, I was sitting in a white chair, well, being forced to sit in a white chair... I was chained to it. Anyways, the white chair had some red spots, they weren't perfect circles... I glanced down at my hands only to see that they had dried blood caked on them.. I heard footsteps coming down the old wooden steps. Should I pretend to be asleep? Should I run? Oh yeah... my feet are binded together too, so are my hands. The footsteps come closer and closer, I decide to pretend I'm asleep.
A woman's voice said, "Hmmmm, the girls' still sleeping, I guess this will be more fun, waking her up screaming. I just love making little girls scream and cry in terror..." in an evil voice. I almost let out a gasp, but managed to stay quiet. I popped my eyes open slowly only to see the woman that stuck her hands into my chest walking across the room and grabbed a rope on a stick. Uh oh. She walked over to me, my eyes fighting to stay closed. The next sound I heard was the rope cutting my skin, blood seeping out of the fresh cuts. I screamed in pain, my eyes open wide, tears streaming down my face.
The woman says, "Stay quiet or else there will be more hits."
I bite my lip so hard to keep from screaming, that my lip bleeds. There
were nine more hits and then the woman left. I moaned in pain, and fell slowly asleep. How do you like the book so far?
