Im not exactly perfect. Well, when you look at it, neither is anyone else. But, being a supernatural paranormal secret powered person isn't exactly the best thing ever.

My name is Violet Embers. And this is the story of us.

Science Sucks. When your sitting in your least favorite class, next to your least favorite person, bored out of your mind, it isn't very interesting.

I lay my head in my hands, pretending my life is normal, when a shock jolts me. I jump, causing the entire class to look at me.

"Sorry" I mumbled. Everyone turned back to the teacher, ignoring me.

After about another 45 minutes, the bell finally rang. As usual, i was the last one out of the classroom.

On my way out, some idiot bumped into me. All my books fall out of my hands and a page rips out of my choir handbook.

"Shit, sorry." The guy i ran into said. I looked up and saw a blonde haired dude. His hair was in a quiff style and i saw his amazingly bright blue eyes. Although the lip ring kind or set me off. I bent over to pick up my books, but he stopped me. "Here. Let me." I bent over to pick up my books and handed them to me.

"Thanks. I'm sorry i bumped into you." I apologized but before i could run, The boy said

"It was my fault, I'm new here. I'm Luke. Luke Hemmings." He reached his hand out, I didn't take it.

"Violet Embers. Um, sorry, but you don't want to be seen with me. I'll ruin any chance of popularity you've got." With that i walked away.

On my way to my locker, i noticed that the hallways had nearly completly emptied. that freaking pretty boy is going to cause me to be home late. Great, now I'm going to be grounded till i die.

I walked to my locker, not knowing that this would be the last time i would see this school.

I know it is really short, but the next couple of chapters are just introducing the characters, so they will be kind of short.
