Bay Leaves

My mom started to walk in the room and tell me the news I assumed that I was able to go home and she was just super happy and tears of joy were coming out of her eyes. But that wasn't it. They were tears of sadness. My mother came into the room and said that I had a decease that has never been seen before. For them this was a Major discovery because now knowing that this decease was real they could save people from dying by figuring out how to cure me. But to my mother this meant I'm going to miss all the fun things in life if they don't fix this. To me, well it meant I was going to be the one who was not going to be loved. My doctor came into the room and asked what I would like to call the decease, since I was the first one they had ever seen with it. I said.
"Bay Leaves"
"Bay Leaves" everyone replied.
"Yup" I returned. Everyone looked at me with a puzzled face, like they had no idea why I would name it Bay Leaves, and they didn't. Bay Leaves had been my arch enemy since one of my old Korean friends shoved Bay Leaves in my mouth and made me eat them. I never forgave her for that, but she lives in Korea now. The doctor started to write down the name Bay Leaves and told me I had made a wonderful choice. Even though in his mind he probably wanted it to be named after him. I started singing when Sophia walked in and hugged me slightly. She came and sat down and started to ask me what was going on. I told her about my Bay Leaves, and she sort of giggled but was serious at the same time.
