Prologue

"It's a pleasant afternoon, Your Highness." I'm standing by the balcony when this royal maid came in to my room with handling a cup of tea. She bows at me before she lend the tea at me. Well that's her job.

Well unfortunate moments often happens. Lucky her. "Guardias! Guardias!"

I can hear the stomps of the panicking people. They here comes.

"Let this servi d'ora out of my palace! Now!!!" Well, that is because she was being too careless. When did she has the right to spilled the tea on her majestad.

With no doubt, they obey what I ordered. No one could cross among me. Unless, you want to rot in hell. Seemingly unrealistic, but impossible things could be possibly happen. No one could ever predict my level of conscience and patience.

As I walk back from the balcony, I could see a wondrous river, "Infinity River" they called.

Makikita mo kasi yung kahabaan nito mula rito. Sa sobrang lawak at haba ay natatakpan na ito ng langit. But I knew from the beginning, it wasn't the infinity that they had been imagining. It has its end.

Bata pa lang ako, kabisado ko na ang buong palasyo at ang paligid nito. It was because I must have. It's a mandatory. Only our family and the significant people here knew the whole palace. We are the few who had the map.

But no one cares about it. Masaya sila sa buong palasyo. Hindi ko lang alam kung pati na rin ang mga taong naglilingkod dito.

"Aquí estamos de nuevo. (Here we are again.)" That was my father— standing behind me.

"You can't blame me. I am your daughter. Therefore, I am fearless."

"Hoy! Allison Imperial! Ano na naman ba 'to? You are being cringey again!"  What's wrong with this stupid guy! He's being annoying again! I can't help but to groan at him.

"Tell me. What is wrong with that Zackar... Zackro... Ugh! Whatever the hell your name is." As long that I know it's Zack!

"Well, I am just protecting you! Can't you see? You looked weird reading that fantasy books. Paano kung makita yan ng mga kaklase natin? Baka asarin ka na naman nila. You know, it would affect my career." Well... Here he is again. Akala mo naman blockbuster na artista na kung makareact. Eh puro supporting role lang naman sa mga kontrabida.

"I know what you are thinking. Whatever you say, I will get to that point! I will have the leading role, someday..." He said, proudly! Now, who's being cringey here?

"I think ikaw ang nakaka-cringe. Ugh. Whatever." Inirapan ko siya abot hanggang kisame, pabalik sa kaniya. Nakakabaliw ang isang ito.

Umakyat ako sa taas upang pumunta sa kwarto ko. Ibinagsak ko ang aking sarili sa malambot na kama sa aking likod at tumama ang aking mata sa bintana mula sa kisame.

Makikita ko ang tumatamang puno at gumaan kaagad ang akinh pakiramdam. I really love greens and gardens and whatever that is plant.

"I am fearless..."

Wow... I hope I could be like her. I hope I have the confidence to face everything just like the lead character in my favorite book. I almost read it a hundred times, still I can't get over it.

But how I wish I could be a fearless woman. I wish I could face those people who always want to drag me down because of my differences. How I wish...
