Two Fates Meet

LAVANDER'S POV

Splaaat!!!!!

I cringed, a snowball hit me flat on the head and even worse it melted and dripped down to my neck! BRRRR..... I'm going to get a big frostbite. Ulpp...

I'm so going to get my revenge on that person who did this to me!

I spun around and saw a grinning boy wearing only a sweater, yes, only a sweater.

BINGO!

I balled some snow and threw it straight at him. 

It missed.

I forgot, I'm not a sharp shooter. I always bum out when it comes to throwing.

The boy just smirked at me. Uh-oh suspicions correct, the boy balled a snowball and aimed it at me. I ducked but it still hit me.

The boy had a look of triumph pasted on his face. I have two words for it: VERY ANNOYING.

I'm not much of a quiter so I fought back. Even I know that he will beat me at snow throwing. Ack...

I threw a big snowball, assuming that it will not hit him. I just hoped that my plan works.

It hit him flat on the face.

Victory! Even better than I assume.

I laughed at the sight of him and soon my classmates are laughing like crazy coyotes at him! The boy realizing that we are all laughing at him, hastily wiped the snow off his face and once he cleared his face I was expecting he'll look angry, but instead he was laughing. I wonder then unexpectedly he raised his arms and pelted us with snowballs! How can he be able to do that?!

Whew! This guy's totally an energy barrel! He seem not to be just a little tired with pelting us with snowballs! Well, I was tired, so I just ran back inside our school and screamed "Cease fire!!" I was done and exhausted. My classmates ran back in too, and we all went to our chair and laughed our heads off, it was such fun!

Then a sharp voice cut through our fits of seeming unending laughter. "You all!" It was from Mr. Wood and tagging from his side is Valene, as usual the Pop leader is always on the prowl to get me and the gang into trouble.

"Yes, sir?" Gabby catiously asked Mr. Wood. She's afraid of getting into trouble, especially like this one happening now.

"I found out that you and your friends went outside the school grounds without our permition" He said. "And, what if you get snowbite there! Especially you, Ms. Flame, Heavens! You are just wearing a scarf as protection against that 6 feet of snow!" He was almost hysteric. Geez.. I was just chillin' out. Valene coughed, and when Mr. Wood heard it he said to us in a grateful voice "And thanks to Ms. Hills I found out your little shenanigans"  He said. Valene smirked at us.

Then, as Mr. Wood was about to leave the room to go to the teacher's lounge, Valene stopped him and said "Mr. Wood where are you going?"

"Heavens! To the teachers lounge of course Valene!" he said in a matter-of-fact voice.

Looks like Pop leader just got bummed. My laughter bubbled through me as it was about to burst

My friends also started to get laughs out of Valene's teacher common sene.

Will also looks like he was about to burst out laughing. He giggled then quickly covered it with a fake cough. A-hem.

Soon, all of my friends look like smiling baboons. They were trying hard not to laugh.

Valene also realized that we were laughing at her secretly, well, it's not kinda secretly coz big laughing smiles were pasted on our faces.

I was not able to control it.

I laughed. Really hard.

Valene looks pink now!

But she quickly regained her pride.

'Well, sir, I was just about to remind you that the school book says, students that are caught outside the school grounds without permition should go straight to the pricipal's office." She galnced us a mean smirk.

We all stopped laughing. Gabby looked nervous. We were all uneasy in our seats.

Then finally, Mr. Wood said in a clear voice "Is that so? Well, the school's officially in a dismissed situation. And just detained the students until the snow lessens. I must say that they are excused, besides I just scolded them for going in the 6 feet snow in just scarfs!" He glnaced at me.

"B-but" Valene started.

"Ms. Hills I appreciate that you told me about this, but I have to go we have a teacher meeting in a few minutes" Mr. Wood said and left the room and walked away.

I laughed again. This time it was hysterical. We all laughed our heads off, I mean, we're not mean my gosh! Valene is even more mean than us, but staring at Valene's stunned face made us rolling on the floor in peals of laughter!

It was like, add insult to injury in Valene's case.

Valene is super red now! I swear I almost see smoke from her ears.

Valene just smirked at us again. But her smirk is a little weak now. 

"Hmpff!" She said and walked away.

"Whew! That girl sure has a big ego!" I said.

"Yep" gabby replied smiling.

"What a day, right guys?" Rowena said.

"Totally!" Mike replied.
