WE ARE THE WALKING DEAD [CARL X READER]

WE ARE THE WALKIND DEAD CHAPTER 1 :)

I am sitting on my bed texting my friend Jamie funny pictures and hilarious jokes for some random reason. I don't know I feel about him? Do I like him? I don't know? He's cute and all, but I just don't know. Na, he probably doesn't like me in that way. We are just friends I remind my self. "AHHH!" I here screams from people outside. Suddenly liv rushes in to my room and starts crying. She hugs me hard and speaks very softly " Y/N, I'm scared!"

"Why are you scared?" I ask while getting down on one knee and whipping tears from her face. "I see scary people attacking our neighbors" she says in a small quite voice then hugs me even harder. I run downstairs and look out the window seeing people limping around in torn clothes, with blood running down there necks.They where attacking people and eating there flesh! I turn away with a disgusted look on my face. My sister slowly walks down the stairs and walks toward me "where's mommy?" She asked in her small, worried voice.
Then I remembered, she went to the grocery store to get food! With all this going through my head I couldn't process it. "Liv get th-"I was cut of by loud banging noises at the door. I peek out the window to see who it was or what is was when saw the monsters pounding the door with all there might. " AHH!" I scream a very high pitched scream falling back onto the ground. I grab liv by the hand and go to the phone. I dial moms number and wait for her to pick up.
" Hello?" A voice through the phone said.
"Mom! There are monsters att-" I was cut off
"AHH!! BEEEP!" I here the phone drop and people screaming then nothing. Nothing for five min straight. "MOM,MOM!" I yelled At the phone. Tears filled my eyes as I dropped the phone on the hard wood floor. Liv picks up the phone and said to me "don't give up." I took the phone from her hands and call Jamie "JAMIE! Hello!"
"Y/N! I can't believe your alive!"
"Just meet me in front of the entrance to the nearest forest"
" how?" He responded.
"Just think!!!" I say ending the call
"Liv, you go upstairs and grab as many bags as you can?" I ask in a calm voice. She nods her head and runs up the stairs. I go into the kitchen. The first thing that pops into my mind is grab kitchen knifes, then food from the pantry then loads of bottles of water. I quickly stuff all those things into the bags that liv brought down, exept for one knife and one small kitchen knife small enough for an eight year old to keep. I run upstairs and grab some cloths for me and liv. I grab some hygiene things and stuff those into one of the bags. I look outside to see about a dozen more canables banging on our door. I head downstairs and grab dads car Keyes but paused to talk to liv. "Liv this world is different and is cruel you don't deserved this life and neither does anyone else, you have to always stay calm and follow my lead no matter what happens, ok" I say
"Ok" she said in response
After our small talk we head for the garage.
Liv fallows me into the gray truck that my dad used to own. Sitting in the drivers seat felt weird. I never drove a car before. Liv puts the bags in the back seat and sits in my lap. I start the engine and open the garage door as soon as I see the canables Rush into the garage I stomp the gas peddle as hard as I can, bulldozing a herd of canables. I remove my foot from the peddle as fast as I can and me and liv hit are heads against the steering wheel hard. All I see is a blur and i have a really bad headache. I looked at liv and try to shake her awake but she just passed out. " LIV!" I scream she wouldn't wake up.
There was no time to waist. I thought when I ran over the canables they would die but they got right back up and started to walk toward the truck. I hit the peddle swerving around the canables then after awhile I got the hang of it. It was quite. Nobody was on the dirt roads I figured the high ways would be over run and I guess I thought right. when I see the entrance to the forest I stop. A bicycle laid there on the dirt road and I am assuming it must be Jamie's. Where's Jamie? I think to myself. I get out the car, making sure to lock the doors cause liv was still past out. I search around for him but nothing. "SWOOSH SWOOSH" I hear leaves rustling and I get out my knife. " who's there?" I say harshly. A figure about my size walks out of the forest. It's Jamie! I drop my knife and run to hug him. He hugged me tightly with tears in his eyes trying not to show his fear and pain to me.
After a long period of time hugging each other, we sit on a log in silence.I looked in his Carolina blue eyes and broke the silence by saying " what happened?" He runs his hands through this soft looking, dirty blonde hair and says "I was at home when it started. I was texting you when I heard my mom scream from outside. I quickly ran outside as fast as I can and saw those Geeks eating my mom." He paused. "When you called, I was relived. I jumped on my bike and headed toured this pace and waited. I got kinda bored waiting so I went into the woods until I heard a car noise" he hugs me again. "I brought food, cloths, water and knifes"I say.
"I brought my dads guns and some food" he says
"we should probably camp in the car for the night" I suggest
"I'll keep watch" he said confidently
"Livs in the car."I say nervously
He smiles and said " haven't seen her In a while."

We go into the car and lock the doors. I asked if he needed any help and to wake me up if he saw anything. I kept my knife in my hand just in case anything happened and Lay against his shoulder with Liv on my lap. My eyes gave up after a while and i fall into a deep sleep. I know I am safe. I know livs safe too. Jamie makes me feel safe I trust him with all my heart and he trust me.

Hello anybody who might be reading this! This chapter is kinda long I think and it's also my first chapter and book. Depending on how many people like it or read it I will continue writing more if more peeps like it/ read it. This first chapter is based on what I would do if the dead started to rise or kinda how I imagine it. Some of these characters are real liv and Jamie are real people but that's not there actual name I just realized editing it that I used and and I a lot. And I have really bad grammar in this.
