Anthony was at his locker when his friends came up to him.
"Dude, your dating Ella?" His friend Robert asked.
"Yeah." He replied calmly.
"Why, bro?" He other friend James asked.
"Cause, she's cool and sweet and funny. If you guys get to her I'm sure you'll like her. Plus, she cute." He replied getting a little angry.
"But, she so quiet." Said his best friend Lucas.
"So. She's great. You guys got to stop judging her." I say not at all confident that they weren't going to stop judging her.
Then I heard books drop and a thump. My friends and I looked at the direction it came from. Then I saw Ella on the floor with a black eye and busted lip. Once the girls saw me they walked away. I ran over to Ella, who was now unconscious, and picked her up. I ran to the nurse's office. When I got there, the nurse took Ella and gave me some water. She told me to go to class, and she'll send Ella when she wakes up.
