Chapter 1

As I adjusted my crown that lay upon my lilac hair, I look down at my phone to see a text from my friend, Calum

Calvinn:you almost ready?? I'm here (:

Mikey: yes sir, be down in a minute

I fixed my outfit, walked down stairs grabbed my back pack and trudged out the door.

"Awe you look so cute!" calum said making me smile
"I hope Luke thinks so," I say under my breath

we pull into school to see people all over the place, freshman looking at their schedules looking scared of the hell they're going through, seniors picking on them, juniors talking with their friends and lastly, sophomores. Michael was a sophomore, walking to his locker he found a note in it.

how could anyone possibly have his locker number??

he opened the note. it was just some trash someone left from the previous year but the words on the old crumpled paper confused him.

"he's so out of reach and I'm finding it hard, cause he makes me feel like I'm trying to hard. why can't Michael notice me?"

he folded the note and put it in his bag

he's so out of reach, that would be a cool song lyric.

as Michael was thinking of the mysterious note, he bumped into someone

"I uh, sorry" Michael muttered barely audible
"no its fine I bumped into you I uh, you look pretty I like your crown y-you look p-pretty...." the mysterious boy said stumbling on his words.

Michael looked up, it was... Luke

"t-th-than-thank you." Michael said cheeks flushed

he quickly walked past the tall blonde and began speed walking to class he set down his backpack and plopped in a desk not aware of anyone coming in until she came in.

Billie Dobra

she's bullied Michael since 4th grade because he accidently spilt milk on her and thought it was because they were wearing the same outfit.

he shuddered at the thought and felt his heart beat faster until Luke walked in.

he smiled looking at his painted nails,

maybe this year won't be so bad...
