Love And Vampires

Chapter 1

My name is Nicole Betterment and I am 15 years old. I am currently living in Shell Coast, Washington. My mother supposedly passed away a couple of years ago and we haven't heard anything on the death or how she died. I am starting to think she isn't dead but just don't know want anybody to know where she is. That don't matter to me because I have bigger problems on the way.

I am starting high school and am going into the ninth grade. My friends tell me it's a lot of fun but I think i'm going to have problems with it because the school that joins with us flat out hates me for no reason. I am buying a Lincoln Navigator for my 16th birthday. It is going to be pimped out but in a country way because I am a total country girl. School starts in a day and I am not ready for it yet.

The sun beams in through my room and wakes me up. I go down stairs and there is a note on the door from a unknown person. It says : "Nicole I hope you have a good high school year, I am not dead, I just can't stand what people call me around there, it kills me not to see you everyday and get to watch you grow up but I also have another huge problem. I am sorry to say this but you will soon inherit this also and it takes a lot to cooperate with it. I am not going to tell you where I am because I don't want you to see me like this, I love you with all my heart..."

I put the letter down and went and sat on the couch and just cried so much I thought I couldn't cry anymore. When I got done I stood up and grabbed my purse and got in the old-timer car that my mom left me. When I turned it on it wouldn't go into gear so I had to let it sit there for about ten minutes and then it finally went. I was driving down the road and was trying to figure if I should tell anybody or just go shopping for clothes. So I decided that nobody would believe me so I went shopping.

Chapter 2

I went to school the next morning and when I walked in there, one of my friends tackled me to the ground and it hurt like crazy. It was my true friend Carrie Namble. "Hey, why did you tackle me down?" I asked. She just laughed and said "Because I missed you so much." Then I smiled and said yeah I missed you to.

"Guess what Carrie?" I asked. "What,what?" she replied. "You know how my mom was presumed dead, well she sent me a letter yesterday and said that she was sorry that she was going to miss me growing up and that it's because I would inherit something that would be painful and hard to go through." I said. "Wow, I really don't know what to say about that. Are you going to believe her or just not care?" she replied. I just looked at her and just shook my head then said "Well I have to believe her because when I go through that whole inherit thing I will need her and then I will be able to see her and see what she looks like because I have never seen her."

When the bell rang my heart started pumping because Jeremiah was going to give me a ride home and I lived by myself and I haven't lost my "v" card yet and I wanted to with him because I really really liked him. On the way home he asked me if I lived alone or with somebody and I said alone but when we got there a car was there that I had never seen before. I get out and say thanks and maybe tomorrow we could hang out. Then I walk in the house and yell is anybody in here? Then out of no where a woman walks out and she is beautiful and is glowing in the light.

"Hey beautiful. I'm your mom." the woman says. I was in shock so I didn't know what to say so I ran up and gave her a hug. When I gave her a hug all my tears and emotions came out and it was like a storm of emotions. "I have wanted to see you forever, why are you here now?" I say with tears running down my face. She took me and sat me down on the sofa and said that she needed to explain why she left.
