I Have a Date? (Chapter Two)

Beep! Beep! Beep! I woke up the next morning to the sound of a traditional alarm clock I was scared so bad I fell out of bed. The next thing I knew was I heard laughing and knocking on my window….Creepy. I got up slowly because I was still in pain from hitting the hardwood floor and walked to my window. I opened the curtain and opened the window to find Josh looking at me with an amused look on his face.

            “Are you okay I heard a loud thump and it made me laugh.” He laughed.

            “I’m okay my alarm clock just scared me so I fell out of bed.”

            “Oh I’m sorry and by the way nice hair it looks like it was done by the professionals.” He said with a wink.

            “No I did it myself.”I said fixing my hair.

            “I like it leave it the way it is, it’s a fashion statement.” He snickered.

            “Oh why thank you I feel like a princess.”

            “Well you look like one too.”

            “Why thank you.” I laughed, “I’m going to go take a shower and get ready for school, Bye!”

            “Bye!” he said as he shut his window and closed his curtains. I left my window open and went to the kitchen to get some food. When I got there I made some toast and put butter on it once I ate I went to the bathroom and brushed me teeth. Once I was done brushing my teeth I turned on the shower to ice cold water and got in and let the was cascade down me. Yes I take cold showers I don’t like hot water. When I was done in the shower I got out and put on a pair of black skinny jeans and old Pepsi shirt and black converse. When I was ready to go I went out the door and started walking to school. Then a car stopped next to me on the road and rolled down its tinted window. I stopped and looked over seeing josh in the driver’s seat smiling at me.

            “Hey get in it’s a long walk to school.” He said unlocking the car, “and it’s cold.”

            “Thanks,” I said, “But I walk to school every day.”

            “Good for you but…today that is going to change because I’m not leaving till you get in this car.” He said and with that we stared each other down for 5 minutes until I finally caved.

“Fine, but I’m not riding with you every day.” I huffed as I opened the passenger’s side door and got in.

“Oh well just see about that.”

“You know you are really pushy.”

“I know, let’s play 20 questions.”

“Um...okay.” I said looking over at him. When I looked at him and took my time he was really hot he had dirty blond hair that fell into his eyes and bright blue eyes and I think a six pack under his shirt bit you can’t tell really. I never realized I had been starring at him.

“Hey Hun take a picture it lasts longer.” He said with a big smirk on his face, my face turned scarlet red and I turned away. “So here is my question. Do you play sports?” he asked.

“Yes I do I play Volleyball, soccer, and basketball.” I said with a grin on my face.

“Very good, I play Football and Basketball.”

“Fun.” I said as we pulled into the schools parking lot and parked. Once we were parked we got out and headed to the office. Once I showed him to the office I went to my locker. When I got there I unlocked my locker 38-20-2 was my lock combination. I opened it and got my books and closed my locker and turned around and started to walk. Then I hit something hard I didn’t even bother to look up.
