Little Trouble Makers [Part 2]

"Come on, Naruto!" You yelled, grabbing the blonde by his hands and dragging him, forcing him to walk faster.

Naruto let out a puff of air as he sighed and quietly cursed at himself for being so non-dominant around you. He was a man, wasn't he? He briskly tightened his grip on your hands as he quickly sped past you, causing you to tumble and be dragged beside him instead.

"Naruto!" You yelped. "What are you doing?"

As you turned to look at your best friend, you saw an enormous grin on his face as he continued to pull you past several people in the streets.

"You did say that I got to choose where we eat, right?" He chuckled, slowing down in a slightly familiar area.

You momentarily exhuasted a huge amount of air as you realized that the Uzumaki was still holding onto your hand as tightly as he was when you were running along side him. He'll take it away when he realizes it, right? I mean, he won't think you're weird or something if you 'forgot he was holding onto your hand'? Hopefully anyways. As you looked around to figure out where he wanted to go, you spotted a little shack like place Naruto loved, Ramen Ichiraku.

"Naruto don't tell me that-" You spoke in disappointment, but seeing the boys grin get even bigger made you chuckle. "Ramen for breakfast? I thought you only did that as a kid!"

"I did," He chuckled and scratched the back of his head. "But that doesn't mean I can't do it again! Plus, bringing you along makes it so much better!"

"Yeah, I guess that's okay..." You mumbled, still in shock of the boys choice of food. You briefly looked down at your hand to see Naruto's still on top.

"Uh, Naruto..."

"Hey, we should probably get in there before all the ramens gone!" Naruto yelled, yanking you into the stand before you could say anything more.

When you two entered, you realized how different the place was now from when you were a kid. It has been a while, hasn't it? You quietly sat beside Naruto, trying not to make too much of a scene. Naruto on the other hand had other plans.

"Teuchi!" He yelled, causing both the man and his daughter to quickly turn toward you two with a smile.

"Naruto! It's great to see you!" He yelled, trailing his eyes down to your interlocked hands. "Naruto, did you finally find yourself a girlfriend? I didn't know you and [Name]-"

"What!" You and Naruto both yelled in unison, both of your faces turning red from embarrassment.

You two quickly pulled your hands from one another and as you hid your blush.

"Teuchi..." He muttered. "We aren't dating..."

"Oh?"He asked with a hint of confusion and surprise. "What a shame. What can I get for you two?"

Your face had finally turned back to it's regular shade as you looked over at the blonde in anticipation. Naruto looked over at you, realizing you had never really eaten here before, and so you didn't know exactly what to order. He chuckled.

"Could we get two of my regulars?"He asked rather loudly.

Teuchi smiled.

"Of course. It'll be just a moment."Teuchi spoke, turning himself around and preparing your food.

Naruto turned toward you with a rather worried expression on his face, making you extremely nervous.

"W-what's wrong?" You asked, worried you had done something to upset him.

Naruto jumped up in shock as he had realized he had been staring at you the entire time.

"O-oh...Nothing!" He yelled, trying to get rid of the awkwardness. "I just wanted to say that I didn't know that Teuchi would assume we were....You know-"

"It's okay, Naruto! I know that you didn't mean for him to say anything like that. I mean, why would you, right?" You spoke, assuming every word wouldn't offend neither Naruto or Teuchi.

Naruto's face turned from happiness to disappointed at your words, not that you realized. Teuchi placed your bowl in front of you, grabbing all your attention, and leaving Naruto with none.

"This looks really good..." You mumbled under your breath, staring at the steaming soup in content.

Naruto chuckled, with his mouth full, half his soup almost gone in seconds. You turned toward him as you heard him laugh at you, just to find his entire bowl empty. How is that even humanely possible?! It's not like that fox eats any of his food in his body... or does it?

"What..." You spoke in confusion. "I don't understand...."

"Just eat so we can head out already!" Naruto joked. "How can you be so slow, [Name]?"

Your eyes widened at his accusation.

"I am not a slow eater!" You yelled in aggravation.

As you calmed yourself down, you satisfyingly ate your ramen one bite at a time, listening to Naruto and Teuchi's conversation go on and on.

"Who was that one kid who you always followed around?" You heard Teuchi speak in the back of your mind.

The two joked and told stories about Naruto as a child, making you smile. You couldn't remember much about your relationship with Naruto as a child, but you knew that you definitely didn't get into as much trouble as him, at least that's what you were told. Just listening to Naruto and Teuchi reminisce made you shiver. And with that thought, you took the last bite, passing your empty bowl up beside Naruto's.

"Thank you very much!" You spoke, swallowing your food.

Naruto said his goodbyes as you two left the stand and began heading back home. A few thoughts bumped around in your head as you struggled to find the things to ask about to the blonde.

"Hey Naruto..." You muttered, almost inaudible.

"Hm?" He spoke, turning his body toward yours.

"How was I as a kid? You know, when we were friends as kids."

Naruto chuckled.

"If this is about you thinking I was the only one doing bad things, it wasn't just me."

"Well I definitely didn't do anything like that!" You yelled in response.

"Are you serious?" He asked with a serious expression on his face. "You were the one who thought of all those schemes."
