Classes were always boring. Of course with the exceptions of a lenient teacher or a bunch of friends but generally they all did the same thing to you. They sucked the fun out of you and caused depression, stress, and maybe just the feeling of being tired. It was like school was made just for these moments of feeling terrible all the time.

The things to look forward to included only a small amount of things. My "things" specifically had been really only 2 things. One was the bell that rang to dismiss us students. Second was this boy. Now let me clear some things. This boy wasn't some pretty boy with a cute stare or a most absolute amazing voice. He was a normal guy in my class with platinum blond hair with a cute smile. For some reason I enjoyed seeing his smile and his eyes crinkle and hearing the sounds coming from his mouth.

Or maybe it was the way he acted. He shouted out answers to the class and if a student didn't know the answer to a question, he'd help- well just straight out tell them despite the teacher staring him down. Sometimes he would go around talking to everyone just to annoy a teacher or something but still it was cute. Because when he got to you specifically, he would make a cute conversation not just some boring conversation.

He would compliment your hair and how he liked your makeup or even how he liked how you smiled. If he ever ran out of compliments, he would start a conversation with the weirdest questions like "Do you like cats or dogs?" "What did you eat this morning?" "How did you learn to do that?" "Do you like anime?" "Pocky?" "How about the color pink?" It was a mess of questions that ranged from cute to simple to useless really.

But that wasn't everyday, even though I had him every other class of mine and he happened to sit in front of me in every one of those classes. The harsh reality of it though was I can reply to everything he said and wanted to say so much more and I did- in my head. The platinum blond listened to what I had said every time but what I said? The most boring things in the universe like "I prefer cats." "I ate toast for breakfast." "I learned this from my younger sister." "Anime is literally my life." "Pocky also." "Everything I own is pink" (of course that was a little bit of an exaggeration.) I was a boring (s)talker so naturally our conversations would last about 3 minutes at most. It wasn't that bad but I dreaded my social skills immensely.

Just like a cliche shoujo anime, I am a normal girl with 0 popularity and I'm taking interest in an outgoing and sociable guy. Not that this is a cliche story because obviously if I'm mentioning it now, nothing will happen. That's how real life is. It doesn't give magical moments and magical chances that can lead you to a group of trusted friends and a crazy adventure and ending up with the guy you crushed on since 2nd grade. Life is a harsh reality that hits you in the face from time to time. Life also just leaves you wondering- at least if you're like me- a girl who wonders about the most weirdest things. Including "Why can't the sky be pink?" "What if we all see different colors and never knew it?" "Will I end up alone with my 50 cats and end up dying crying over anime?" "Will I ever stop being an otaku?" "Why is music so catchy?" "What the hell is deja vu?" "Why are humans curious so much?" "Will I make it to a university?" "Will I ever get to study sociology?" "What the heck is love?" "Is heck actually a combination of the words hell and fuck?" "What is beauty?"

"What the hell is beauty? What the heck is heck?" I mumble out loud and lucky for me someone very specific heard what the heck I mumbled and- wait guess who? I bet you won't ever guess in a million years! Wait, you will because that was obvious sarcasm and there is no point of beating around the bush here and no need for suspense. Unless this was a book i'm writing which I never will because my life is so boring there's nothing to write about. Like, it could be named "The Adventures Of My Mind" and all I wrote about was the back of the platinum blondes head because it's what I can think about often since it's what I see throughout the day at school- but that's just me getting off track like always. But you already know who heard me and if you were guessing the platinum blond then you would be wrong. No i'm totally kidding it was him who turned around and mumbled a "Hm?"
