I couldn't even believe it! I was going to meet all time low!!! Sure only for half an hour but that is plenty of time! It literally won't process in my mind! Oh my god what if jack hugs me! What if zack gives me one of his heart warming smiles? What is rian shows me his dazzling teeth! Oh my god I can't wait to meet them.
According to the tickets we need to get to the side stage entrance three hours before the show. Then we will meet with them for half an hour and get pictures and signatures and then we que up again and join the crowd!
"That means we got here early for nothing then?" Wendy asked disappointed.
"Hell no!" I cried "if we didn't get here early tabitha wouldn't of given us the tickets and my dreams wouldn't have come true!" I said a little bit to loudly that a few people turned and stared for a few moments.
"Look it's 1 o'clock and we need to be in there at four so we don't even have to be here" Wendy explained.
"That's true....we could go to the music store and get a few cd's for them to sign?" I suggested.
"Yeah. Okay " Wendy agreed.
When we got to the music store I had the task of choosing what cd to get. After about 20 mins I decided to get nothing personal and don't panic. Ideally I wanted to get future hearts but the album wasn't released until the 3rd of April. We went and got a drink to pass some time and then by the time we got back and I made sure I was looking okay and I was ready to meet the most important people of my life it was ten past three. We had fifty minutes to kill before meeting the foursome from Baltimore. We decided to go on a head and wait by the doors until it was time. There were three people already there.
"Hey are you waiting to meet all time low?" The short girl asked.
"Yeah!!!" I said really energetically
"Oh wow. Haha calm down" said the bigger girl with pink hair.
"Sorry but I have been waiting for something like this for ages" I explained.
"It's okay. They're not gonna remember us ya know" said the bigger girl with pink hair dismally.
"I don't care. I won't ever forget them!" I said trying to lighten the mood a little bit.
"Whatever" she murmured the flicked her hair and put both her head phones in.
"Sorry about val, her boyfriend just broke up with her and she's in a bit of a shit mood" the shorter girl said "I'm Maggie"
"Hey I'm Lizzie and this is my friend Wendy"
"Wendy!" Maggie said before I even finished the sentence "let me guess...your favourite song is somewhere in neverland."
"Haha yeah it is actually! Lizzie thought the exact same thing when don't panic was realised!" Wendy explained.
"Have you been to one of these before?" I asked them.
"What a concert or a meet and greet?"
"A meet and greet" I said
"Yeah. In New York. We're from there but we are here for a vacation" Maggie explained.
"Oh cool I'm from Washington but I moved here when I was eleven. But I still visit my mum and dad every holiday" I told her.
"Thad cool. Have you been to a meet and greet before? She asked.
"No this is our first one. That's why I'm so excited!!!!" I answered.
"It's really great. But oh my I am tired I'm might try and take a nap for half an hour while we wait can you wake me up ten mins before we have to go in please? Val will probably forget! Haha"
She asked.
"Yeah sure " I answered politely. To be honest I thought it was a bit weird to sleep in the middle floor but I just went with it and let her sleep. Val said she needed to go to the toilet so I told her to quickly go before we ran out of time. When she came back it was almost time to go in.
"Oh my god you were like ten minutes!" I said aghast.
"Yeah sorry I couldn't find a bathroom"
"We've got like five minutes before we have to go in" I said.
"Damn, sorry" she said apologetically.
"It's okay" I told her
"So they're names are Alex, jack, zack and...Ross?" She asked. I just stared at her.
"What?" She asked "it's not Ross is it?"
"it's rian!" I said. Wendy was about to ask another question but then I heard the doors open and my heart started pounding.
"Hey guys, you here for the meet and greet?"
"Yeah" we all said. Damn! I forgot to wake Maggie up!
"Maggie!!" I said shaking her " sorry I completely forgot you were asleep under the coat!" I said.
"Oh thats okay. Do I look okay?" She asked
"Uh yeah one sec" I told her while adjusting her necklace and untucking her hair from her scarf.
"There, perfect".
"Thanks" I said. Then we all gave the security guy out tickets and took our place in a room that I guessed was a spare dressing room.
"Lizzie! I forgot, I got you a present!" Wendy said handing me a bag. Inside was the album dirty work and so wrong it's right.
"There for you to get signed" she said.
"Awh, thanks Wendy. When did you get these?" I asked intrigued.
" i didn't actually go to the toilet. I went back to the music store and got you them" she explained.
"Awh thanks" I said and then I hugged her. I was going to ask her about if my hair was okay but I got I interrupted by that familiar door swinging open. My head snapped in that direction and my heart stopped. Stood not 5 feet away was zack. Zachary merrick!!! Then followed by rian then Alex on jacks back. The various other people stood up and went to shake their hand and meet them but I couldn't move. My brain was physically not letting me stand up and meet the most important people of my life. When they finished meeting the other half a dozen of people jack caught my eye line and I instantly snapped out of my daze.
"Sorry about her, she is literally your biggest fan" Wendy explained.
"Oh haha that's okay" he laughed.
"Oh my god I'm sorry I just can't believe it! Your jack! Jack barakat!" I just got the words out.
"Haha well yes...yes I am! And you are?" He asked me with a very shy but intrigued look In his eye.
"I'm Lizzie" I said. As we were talking our eyes never broke contact.
"So how long have you liked-"
"-Loved!" Wendy interrupted
"Sorry how long have you loved all time low?" Jack asked still looking into my eyes and giggling. Awh he's so fricken cute.
"Since you released your first E.p. three words..." I said to jack witches caused him to have an impressed look on his face.
"Oh wow, your dedicated" he said blushing slightly." Anyway. D'you wanna meet the rest of the band?" He asked.
"Do I even need to answer that?" I said. All he did was laugh and then introduce me to rest of he quartet from Baltimore.
The meet and greet went way, way to fast. Before I knew it we had five minutes left. The while time I had just been talking with the band and adoring their every move, they every word.
Jacks p.o.v
As soon and I walked in with Alex on my back I scanned the room as I normally do and when my eyes landed on Lizzie and I I just didn't look away. She was just sat there frozen staring at us with admiration in her eyes. She was slowly rising out of her chair and she looked like she was going to cry she was so happy. After I shook everyone's hand I went over to her and made sure she was okay. Obviously I talked to the other 6 fans but I just wanted to keep on talking. I introduced her to the others, which I only did for her, no one else, and then before I knew it we had five minutes left. I couldn't just leave it like this I wanted to know more. I always love meeting new fans. Lizzie and I just clicked. Just the way she spoke with passion in her eyes and I really enjoyed talker to her. She looked really emo and it was really cute. She was wearing a hustler shirt with a Baltimore zip up long sleeve hoodie with black ripped skinny jeans and black converse. After we all took photos and we gave the fans our signatures and stuff I realised I only had five minutes left. I wanted to find out more about Lizzie. I couldn't just leave it at this.
As I was signing Lizzie's cd's and Alex, rian and zack were talking to everyone about the upcoming show i thought I had to do something now otherwise I would never see Lizzie again.
I was about to ask her another question but she got there first.
"I know you hear this all the time but your music literally saved my life. I don't know where I'd be right now if it wasn't for you guys" she said with a 'I know it's cliche but oh well' look on her face.
"Aw. Thanks. We don't hear it enough" I said with a smirk on my face which made her laugh. " no really it's great to hear things like this from fans" I explained "it always makes people feel better. I think that if you like someone or like their talent you should tell them and 'congratulate' them". I said
"I'm always too scared to talk to some people. Sometimes I think about it but then they look at me and there's that awkward eye contact" she explained. Although it was most probably true we laughed it off.
"Are you excited for the show?" I asked her.
"Of course I am!" I laughed" I can't wait"
"It would be really cool if you came up on stage for time bomb. If I find you in the crowd I'll bring you up?" I asked already knowing the answer.
"Oh my god definitely" she answered with that glimmer in her eyes.
"It's a deal then" and as I said that the Alex said to everyone the heartbreaking sentence that we had to go get ready for the show and we were welcome now to enter anytime.
"What?" Lizzie said surprised
"Didn't you know?" I asked as She shook my head "you can go into the crowd anytime now. It's part of the meet and greet package" i said as it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"I didn't know that! " She said as i hugged her goodbye.
"I'll see you later". After everybody hugged everybody good bye they all went to join the crowd.
Lizzie's p.o.v
"Wow, you and jack sure got along. He hardly talked to anyone else?" Wendy said and we reached the barrier. We were at the front. Right at the front! There were only eight people in here and I was one of them!
" yeah... We just clicked" I said. I couldn't stop thinking about him.
"He said he'd try and get me on stage for time bomb" I said.
"He get you on stage for what?" Wendy asked a bit worried.
"Their song time bomb. They usually get fans on stage to dance around and stuff" I explained.
"Oh wow that will be awesome. If that happens I'll defiantly get pictures, okay? " Wendy promised.
" yeah definitely" I said
Jacks p.o.v
" jack, are all the meet and greeters out in the crowd?" Alex asked.
"Yeah they're all sat out there waiting"
I replied.
"Cool let's go do sound check. We've only got an hour" Alex suggested. After that we rounded up rian and zack and took our places on stage. Crew had been wandering around the stage for sometime now get things ready so when we went on stage none of the fans realised that we were there.
"Could all hustlers please raise and feet ready to jam it out" I said in a strange voice. All of them turned around and gasped, stood up and grabbed onto the barrier.
"We're just doing a 15 minute sound check" Alex explained to the confused crowd. We started off playing Stella then lost in stereo, damned if I do ya and then dear Maria count me in. We didn't play out whole set as the tech crew just needed some samples to make sure everything was ok. After that we went back stage until it was time for doors to open. I couldn't wait!
