It was early am, and Jimin could hardly contain his excitement. Today was the big day - the day that he got to go out on a date with his boyfriend, Jungkook. He still couldn't get over that fact. He had, had a crush on the younger since he very beginning, and to finally be able to call him his boyfriend was a dream. Even if it hadn't been that long of a wait, it came quicker than he had expected, and for that he was thankful.
Sitting up, he looked to the alarm clock on the nightstand next to Jungkook's bed, seeing as how he had a top bunk, as it read: 7:45 a.m.
Still too early.. he thought. Looking over to his left, he watched as the maknae slept peacefully, gently gripping one of Jimin's shirts close to his chest. The sight made Jimin's heart skip a beat, as he remembered the previous night.
"Jiminnie... hyung..."
Jimin turned to look at the doorway to BTS' shared room to see Jungkook standing there, rubbing his eye out of sheer tiredness. Jimin thought that he really did look like a kid standing there. Well, they do say act your age, and he is still young, after all... he thought.
He looked around to see everyone else talking and having a good time, not noticing the troubled maknae. Although, Jimin had always been the first to notice anything about Jungkook, having had quite a bit of time to practice, seeing as he had been infatuated with the other since the start.
Jimin quickly rose from his seat and was by his boyfriend's side in a flash. "What's wrong, Kookie?"
"I... I can't sleep... " he said, his voice deep with sleep. Jimin placed a hand on his shoulder and turned him away from the others who were having a celebratory drink for all the hard work, success, and as a way to be grateful for a day off.
"Is that what the Hyungs do when I go to bed?" Asked Jungkook. "You know I'm not a kid, right?" Jimin merely chuckled awkwardly and proceeded to push the younger into their shared room and closed the door. Jungkook sat down on his bed, with Jimin quickly joining him and wrapping an arm around his shoulders, pulling him close.
Resting his head on the older's shoulder, Jungkook sighed and closed his eyes. "Everything okay?" Jimin asked, to which Jungkook only nodded. "You're a terrible liar. What's wrong, Kookie?"
"I didn't even say anything, how would you know I'm lying?"
"Well, for one, you can't sleep, so there must be something on your mind that you're not telling." Jimin pointed out plainly. Jungkook scoffed, "Again, you're more observant than you let on, Hyung."
"Only when it comes to you."
Arms wrapped themselves around Jimin's shoulders then, and a body sat down on his lap, hands were placed back onto his chest, effectively pushing him back onto the bed. Jimin looked up to see Jungkook straddling him, his eyes hidden by his bangs. "Kookie..?"
"Hyung.. how did you come to like me?"
The older was taken aback, "What do you mean, Jungkook?" he said, pushing up on his forearms. The maknae looked away, "Why... why do you like me?"
"How could I not, Kookie?"
"I'm serious, Hyung!" Jungkook snapped.
"I'm serious, too." Jimin countered calmly, "What's wrong Kookie.... why are you questioning me now?"
"Please, just tell me... " he mumbled, flashes of his dream showing every time he closed his eyes.
Jimin put all his weight on one arm as his other came up so he could lightly grip onto Jungkook's chin, making the younger face him.
