So here's the thing... this song I wrote in sixth grade.  I find it funny more so than serious looking back.  It's about a guy that was in my English class that I liked and I thought he liked me too.  The first day of school is always on a Tuesday.  Background info!

You say hey and tell me your name

you light up my face

you don't know how nice that is

I can't forget about that Tuesday

when I found out who you really were

I can't write this and leave out the most important part

you shut me down and woke me up

and to think it all started on a Tuesday

the days you disappear I can't function

I am a stagnant tide

as I dream I awaken from the coma I've been in

now I see how we were meant to be

I can't forget about that Tuesday

when I found out who you really were

I can't write this and leave out the most important part

you shut me down and woke me up

and to think it all started on a Tuesday

forevermore we can be together

I promise if we both believe

I'm wishing upon a shooting star

I can't forget about that Tuesday

when I found out who you really were

I can't write this and leave out the most important part

you shut me down and woke me up

and to think it all started on a Tuesday

on a Tuesday

when the flames were high and the lights are low

no one can break us and our legacy

and to think it all started on a Tuesday

I can't forget about that Tuesday

when I found out who you really were

I can't write this and leave out the most important part

you shut me down and woke me up

and to think it all started on a Tuesday
