The Lost World

Chapter 1

I stare up at the dome at Jupiter. We have bee living here for hundreds of years. Here in Titan we have order. Apparently Earth was destroyed because there was no order. We have 3 Divisions and then the free. The three divisions are the Leaders, who govern Titan, the Greens, who garden and provide food, and the Locals, which have the largest population because you are allowed to own shops or cafes.  Then there are the frees who don't want to do anything. Often people employ them and they don't show up. At the moment my father is in Leaders so I walk to the Point which is the political building in the centre of the dome.
"Name" speaks the box outside the fence
"Rachel Aniston, Mr Ansitons daughter" I speak back blankly. The doors open and I walk through them and up to my fathers office. He is angry so a vein in his neck is popping out as he speaks to his coworker, Matt. I sit just outside waiting for the meeting to finish but I can't help overhearing the conversation.
"What are you talking about!? How is this even possible? Why is Earths population growing?! This can't be possible, everyone from Earth came to Titan because of the issue." My brain is going wild. My father comes out of the office and tells me he will be a few more minutes.
"If we send some of our population down to Earth we can figure out how. We should make a test. A test that scores a persons ability. Of course if they are going back to Earth then they will have to be tested on strength and intelligence." The rest of the conversation fades out because I almost pass out. The meeting concludes and my father is obviously still mad. His face is red and hair tousled. We walk to our house in silence. Because we are Leaders we get better housing and more work like clothes. Everything is formal while the Greens are casual, Locals wear they work clothes and Frees wear rags. What would happen if I went to Earth and how is it even possible that there is a population growing there? And what's the issue? We all heard that we left because it was going to get destroyed from a asteroid! Dinner is quiet with my fathers characteristics of putting people in a bad mood when he's angry.
