"I have a story you might like." Devin said.
"If we have to deal with another one of your boring stories." Albert moaned.
"Its not a bad one I promise."
"Whatever." Adam said
"Okay so legend has it that there was a girl who was raised without a father as a child. Her mother told her that one day she would meet him. When she was seven years old she found out her father was Satan and her mother was killed two days after. She was raised in Hell. No one else wanted her and treated her terribly. She learned to kill, she never showed mercy either." Devin said. "Some say she's so heartless that she killed a Thornhead Fireball and took one of the babies as her pet. She still runs around today killing anyone and anything she pleases."
"You brought this rumor up again? I don't think its true." Adam said.
"Ya sure she's real I've seen her before." Devin said.
"I don't believe you but even if she exists that doesn't make the story true." Albert said.
"Good point." Devin said.
I don't know why everyone seems to say that's what happened in my childhood and that I'm completely heartless... My parents are dead but they weren't killed.
But here I am up in a tree watching three boys sit around a fire talking about if I'm even real or not. The only reason I'm here is to get information for someone, but I'm getting nothing.
I was getting bored and climbed out of the tree as soon as my foot hit the ground, here comes Axe, my Thornhead Fireball, running up to me and tripped on his own feet. Now they know we're here.
"Who's there?" Albert asked as the all pulled out swords.
"Sorry, I'm lost." I lied.
"Where you heading?" Adam asked.
"Just a little north from here."
"Do you need someone to help you?" Devin asked.
"No thank you just point me in the right direction." I said still lying.
"North is just that way." Devin said pointing off twards my right. I gave a weak smile and turned walking into the woods, thankful that it was dark enough that they didn't see Axe.
"What's that behind you?" Albert asked his words getting shakier every word. I sighed, "damn it" I mumbled. Thought to soon.
I turned and looked at them one by one the fire flickering so I could just barely see the terrified looks, except for Devin. He looked... Amused.
"You caught me." I said sarcastically.
"You have a god damn dragon behind you!" Albert yelled. "Who the hell are you."
"I go by many names." I said. "Crimson, Azazel, oh and one of my favorites, that also seem to be the most popular, Hell Angel." I said sarcastically while looked across their faces again, somehow they looked even more terrified than before. Except for Devin. I couldn't help but wonder why he wasn't scared like the others. "So, do any of you know a James Diabolos?" I said trying to change the topic.
"Yes," Devin said taking a step twards me. "Why?"
"He stole something from a friend of mine and I want to take it back." Changing the subject was too easy.
"He's usually found around Aparadhi." Devin said.
"Where exactly is this town?" I asked.
"It's a few miles north of here, but it's filled with criminals." Devin warned.
I gave out a slight chuckle, "then I should feel right at home." I said before climbing on Axe and flying to Aparadhi, leaving them completely confused.
