After finally arriving at Aparadhi, I climbed off of Axe and walked up to the main gate. It was tall and dark made from thick iron, twisted and bent out of shape. It looked like it used to be a beautiful place, but now it was gloomy and dark.

There were no guards anywhere in sight so I walked right in. The place is filled with tall, dark trees and falling apart buildings that have moss growing up the sides. All of the people looked disgusting. Their faces were covered in muck, their clothes were baggy and torn, and they all looked really unhealthy. I walked twards the center of the town with Axe following closely behind. Hopefully I can find some people here that won't try to rip my head off if I ask them about James.

I made my way to a small market place that had scrawny animals in tiny cages almost everywhere I turned. And not to mention the food looked disgusting as well.

Note to self: don't eat any of the food.

I walked up to a small cart with a bunch of clay pots. And a small lady turned toward me. She was short with short black hair, a lot cleaner than the other people's, and her clothes seemed much more presentable than the rest of the town.

"Hello," she said in a bright tone.

"Hello," I said back. "How much is this?" I asked picking up a little flower pot.

She looked at it briefly, "five."

I handed her five small silver coins and stuffed the pot into one of the side pockets on Axe's saddle. "Do you know anything about A James Diabolos?"

She gave me a confused look then sighed. "He only comes around here at night, and always hangs around the bad side of town." I wanted to point out to her that this entire town seemed bad, but I decided to keep my mouth shut. "Where is the bad side of town exactly?" I asked trying not to sound rude.

"You aren't from around here, are you?" She asked giving me an annoyed glare.

"I'm not, sorry." I paused before adding, "I just need to find him."

She nodded her head,"go to the west side of town and look for the bars and clubs, that's were you would most likely find him." She said so calm, and so nonchalant. "If you don't mind me asking, why do you need to find him? He's a dangerous criminal."

"I know, he betrayed a friend of mine and I'm getting back at him." I said.

"Be careful with him. He's... Something else." She said quietly. "He's not exactly human, and he has all sorts of other criminals working for him." I was a little freaked out but I kept my cool. Not the first time I've delt with non-human things.

With a simple goodbye I was on my way to West Aparadhi.
