Eyes Watering
My eyes closed.
My lips parted.
My body was paralyzed.
Nothing.
Something caressed my cheek.
It felt like a hand.
I struggled to pull my eyes open.
I failed.
A pair of lips brushed over mine.
Worst part was,
I didn’t want it to end.
I felt the tingling.
Warmth.
Sparks.
I felt two pieces of metal pressed between my lips and a stranger’s.
Oh no.
My eyes finally decided to open.
Again pools of blue.
Damn!
It was too damn early.
My alarm didn’t even go off.
It was dark out too.
Ugh!
I saw a bright flash outside.
Oh please no.
I stopped breathing…
Thunder.
I hid back under my covers.
I pulled my knees to my body and cried.
The louder the thunder got, the louder I cried.
I guess you can say I don’t really like thunder.
Nor lightning.
I—I don’t wanna talk about it.
I felt arms wrap around me.
It felt nice?
I didn’t want to look up.
I already knew who it was.
Jayke.
I don’t like this feeling.
Feeling weak and emotional…
It’s not good for me.
“There, there Blue,
“Nothing can hurt you.
“I won’t let them.”
A part of me stopped and smiled.
Why?
Why am I feeling this?
Why aren’t I pushing him away?
I have no idea why those words had such a big impact on me.
I actually felt like nothing could hurt me…
I grabbed him into a hug.
Stuffed my head into his neck.
He made me lay down back onto my bed.
He kissed my forehead and started to get up.
I held on to him.
