Chapter One: The Makings Of Love

Reader's P.O.V.

"Hey Marco wait up!" You would think it would be Star screaming at him to wait up, but it wasn't. It was Ember, a girl who came about a moth after Star. She had moved down the street from Marco and they became friends. But now Marco was 18, and he started forming feelings for her. When she confessed that she loved him too, they got together right away. Now, they walked to school together everyday. Star got on the bus and sat next to Jackie, because they had become good friends. As they reached school, they heard the first bell meaning that you had to go get your stuff for class. "B-Bye Em-Ember", Marco said while hugging her. Both of them blushed. Ember gave a quick peck on the cheek to Marco and ran off to her locker. They were still getting used to the whole 'Dating' thing but it was all ok. Marco grabbed his math book and went to class. He took his usual seat next to Star and started doing the warm-up on the board. Star was sneaking the app called Q/A which solved any problem for you, but Marco didn't notice. Star then got a notification on her phone. "Oh Yeah! Marco, I almost forgot. Can me and the squad have a sleep-over in my room tonight? I mean, your parents are gone and tomorrow is Saturday!" This is the usual weekend. Asking to do things when Marco's parents aren't there. "O...k Star but no inviting the entire school, JUST the squad." By the squad she meant Ember, Herself, Jackie, and Melissa. Marco got back to doing his warm-ups and silently finished them.

Star's P.O.V

School had just ended and I was preparing for the slumber party. Me and the girls decided to walk home together. I thought of Marco. His pretty brown- Wait. What am I saying. I love Oscar. Rign? Not... Marco. I decided it was just the 'hormones'. It makes girls love people that they are close to them. I shrugged it off and decided to get back into the normal cheery Star that I am. We finally reached home and I started to set up sleeping bags when Jackie said, "Girls! I have an idea! Let's play truth or dare." I looked questionably and asked, "What's that?" Ember looked at me with a look of shock on her face. "You've never played? Well, people ask one another questions like truth, you have to tell the truth, or dare, you have to do what the person says. Got it?" I nodded a bit. "Ok. I'll start.", Ember said. "Melissa truth or dare?" I had almost forgotten she was there. She was always so shy. "umm... truth." "Ok. Do you have a crush on anyone?" She then got a longing look in her eyes. "Fred. I love Fred." I gasped. He was sent to jail for raping.

Ember suddenly got mad.
