I found her in the mental hospital I was working at. They said she had severe paranoia caused by depression and anxiety. They said she hadn't spoken since she got there, almost 2 months.
She used to leave a note outside her room everyday, "Ryan, will you get me water? preferably with ice. Thank you! :)". I'd come back with a styrofoam cup and find her scribbling in the journal they give patients.
She never made eye contact with me. She never made eye contact with anyone. She always kept to herself and she refused to leave her room. She'd just sit on her bed and stare outside and write in her journal. She never really bothered anyone, other than the doctors who needed her to speak. They just couldn't get her to say anything. They knew they couldn't help her if she never spoke and for a long time, She didn't.
