"Shiki's POV"
Kei: Ne, Shiki... Besides us... Who went out and looked for Kairi?
Me: Truth to be told... It was only us... You, me, and Nekozawa-sensei... The others didn't come along...
Kei: Then...
Kei looked out of the window and saw a white figure suddenly disappear inside the woods...
Kei: Shiki, did you see that?
Me: What?
Kei: O-oh nothing... Never mind...
He started to rub his eyes thinking that he might be hallucinating, but I think he didn't...
:TIMESKIP:
We went out of the mansion to buy the needed things for our trip and somehow got my hands on some rumors...
1 Old Lady: Long ago, while the mansion was still in use... The owner's wife had an affair... And due to anger... The owner of the house killed his own wife... The oldest son, who saw this traumatic scene... Wanted to take revenge on his father, but was killed before he could do so..
The first old lady didn't know what happened next so I asked around..

At that time... I knew that what Kei saw wasn't just a hallucination...
I went on running back to the others to tell them about the news that I got my hands on and due to worry... We rushed back to check on Kairi and the others...

When we arrived back... Kairi was already awake and was shaking in a corner... We asked her on what happened and she refused to answer... But she did point to Miku's room...
Me: Miku's room?... I got it.. Kei, take her to your room and let her get some sleep...
I dashed over to Miku's room while Kei carried Kairi back to their room...
*Knock knock*
Me: Miku? Are you in there? Open up...
I knocked again just to make sure... But no one answered...
Me: Miku? Seriously... If you won't open up then you leave me no choice but to kick this door open...
For a short moment... Silence filled the air...
Me: You asked for it...
Right before I was able to kick the door... I saw blood flowing out underneath it... I realised that the door wasn't locked, so I opened it and saw Miku lying on the floor with a knife stabbed on her back...
I checked Miku's pulse and I can't feel a thing but Miku's cold body...
Yuki: KYEEEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!! HEEEELPPPP!! SOMEBODY! PLEEEASSSEE! HEEEELLLLPPPP!!
Nekozawa-sensei, Hiro, and Kei ran towards the screaming Yuki as fast as they could go and saw a white tall figure of a boy running after her with a knife in his hand...
Ghost: Die... Die... DIEEE!!!!!
Yuki: Kyeaaahhhh!!!
Yuki stumbled and when the monster was about to stab her with his knife... It disappeared...
Seems like the monster appears for only a short amount of time...
Soon after... Our teacher started a head count and didn't involve the people who have died... Two were found missing.... Mari and Dia...
Ms: Where are Mari and Dia?
Yuki: I saw them running away when they heard Miku scream and I ran after them... But then... The monster started to run after me...
:TIMESKIP:
We started a search for the two and found some of the rooms still locked like the ground floor living room, the library, and lastly... The master's bedroom on the second floor...
Me: It's weird...
Hiro: What is?...
Me: Three of the most important rooms were locked... And we can't find the keys for them... Were the keys intentionally hidden so that the rooms won't be opened?
Hiro: You're right... Was the former owner of this house trying to hide something?...
Me: Let's try to find out...
Once again... The two of us started another search but this time... We are trying to find the house keys...
As we were searching for the keys... We somehow stumbled upon a door with a girl's name carved on a board next to it...

I took a deep breath and opened the door and saw a girl's well-organized room...
Hiro: It would've been clean it it were not for this super thick dust lying around...
Hiro and I looked around for a bit and saw a single book with a pen on top of a table...
Me: Diary..?
I opened the book on a page where the bookmark was placed and read it...
Me: "I saw dad earlier in the garden... He was holding something... He started digging under the bench after a while and covered it up after he threw that 'something'... I never knew what that 'something' was... A few hours later... Dad told me to never go out of my room even if I hear screams or something else... After a while... I heard mom screaming 'Please... Don't... Kyeahh' and silence came after..."
The page was torn after that... I tried opening the back if there was anything written on it and there actually was...
"We lived a happy life... Until 'that woman' came and killed my family... Good thing dad hid the keys... If he didn't... I would've been killed before I could write this... - Kairi
Note: Look down below the curtained furniture...
Curtained furniture?...
Hiro went to the window and looked down and saw the bench... But it can't be the one that the girl was talking about... She said furniture... I looked around for a bit and realized that the bed also has curtains... So I looked under it...
Me: Hiro, come and take a look at this...
Hiro and I opened the box and saw the missing page of the diary... 'Good thing that 'that woman' doesn't know her way around the house... And I think that in a while... I'll be killed too... I can't hide here forever... She knows that I'm still alive... She tricked dad for his money and killed him so that she could have more... And not only that...
