Chapter 9.1 - MyungEun Date

Naeun's POV

As I was scrolling on my Twitter, I saw our article was trending as soon as it was released. The truth is this past few days I just wanted to hang out with Myungsoo as a friend but the more I get to know him makes me fall for him.

I don't really know if this is love because I never experienced loving a certain someone.

But now I think I know what it feels like to fall In love. Love is when you get in touch with them you'll feel electricity flowing in your body that explains why our heart beats fast. You'll only see him of all people arround you.

I can say I like Myungsoo but we never talked about it. We both don't know what we feel for each other. We just act sweet but I really don't know what are we? Are we a couple? Close friends?

I just don't want to assume. Assumptions may hurt you.

Like now I'm on my way to our date. I don't know how did I called this a date. But let's just say it is.

Our date is like the usual. Picnic date. By the Han River.

Right now I'm walking by the river. Well Myungsoo set the picnic date in a place where less people are there. We don't want to be the center of attraction. As I was walking some people were looking at me. Taking pictures secretly.

"Naeun-ah~" I saw Myungsoo waved at me by a distance. I smiled at him. My heart was beating fast as I saw him.

"Have you been waiting for me so long?" I said and sat beside him. Good thing I wore high buttoned shorts and a crop top.

"Not really... Anyway... " He looked away. Like he was trying to say something.

"What is it?"

"I'm really speechless right now but, I am curious what did you feel after they mistakenly thought we we are dating?" He said. I looked at his face. It was so perfect, like his nose was carved perfectly and his eyes that seem bored yet attractive.

"I-I.. -"

"Never mind. Ignore what I said Naeun. I was just too feeling anxious without any reason" I just nodded at him. I felt a bit of awkwardness. So I just grabbed a plate from the basket, when he also wanted to get a plate, our hands accidentally met. An electric shock flow through my hands which made me pulled back fast.

"Uhm sorry... " I felt my cheeks are red as cherries right now.

"Hey, why don't we get comfortable. We are friends right?" He said and handed me a plate of fruit cake. I took it and said "Yeah. Friends" I was a bit of disappointed on what he said. I just don't know why I only like him but why did I felt that my heart stopped at that moment?

"Hahaha" I suddenly looked at Myungsoo who just laughed out of nowhere.

"Why? What? " I glared at him. He just leaned in front of me that shocked me. He is just inches away from me.

I closed my eyes when I heard him said "Relax. I'm just getting a tissue that is placed behind you" He chuckled even more. I felt embarrassed more when he wipped my cheeks. I had cake on my cheeks?

"Ya! Just say I have dirt on my face okay?" I jokingly said. I tried making myself comfortable with him.

"Okay okay it's still a little cute tho!" He chuckled lightly then he took his cellphone out.

"Hey Naeun let's take a selca" He positioned the phone's camera and took our first picture together.

"Pffftahahha! I'm so going to post this. So cute!" He said and started typingnon his phone.
